Pixel Envy Photography
One of SL's best photography studios is looking for incredible photographers to join us in creating art that will wow our clients. Pixel Envy management actively advertises the studio and manages search ranking so that our artists can enjoy having a steady stream of clientele and income. Photographers make 80% of all bookings + 100% tips. The other 20% goes towards land tier, paying our service staff, and advertising.
We have an amazingly welcoming, tight-knit team to help you become successful! Every photographer knows how hard it is to get clients while working freelance, join us and our well-established studio will back you up, and provide you with clients, work, and lindens! We offer a gorgeous build, your own private studio space, super friendly co-workers, and all the support you need to do what you do best.
Because of the high-quality nature of our business, we can only accept experienced artists that have the ability to paint hair.

I was curious if anyone else is having trouble hiring right now? In the past when I'd just post on the forums alone, I'd have several applications by morning. I have been advertising on forums, facebook, flickr, and in world and have had hardly any applications! I was just wondering if other people were experiencing the same thing?

Art Addicts Photography // Marketing Manager
Art Addicts Photography has a position open for a Marketing Manager for immediate employment. The Marketing Manager is responsible for posting on social media, managing adboards, creative brainstorming to bring our target client into the studio, and working closely with management to help maintain studio brand awareness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 90 days in SL
- Trustworthy and Reliable Person
- Have the ability to communicate clearly, and without using text talk. (u, ur, alr8, etc.)
- Ability to create, save and modify notecards
- Ability to work minimum of 2-3 hours per week.
- SL Facebook Account

I have to chime in here, because I am a professional photographer in SL and RL, and have been doing so for over a decade. I feel my skills are marketable and yes, I do charge an appropriate price for my work. I disagree with your comment because doing photography "for the love of doing it" is something I do while I work on personal projects. However, when someone commissions specific photographs, I am absolutely going to charge for them. It takes several hours to complete one photograph between shooting and editing, this often boils down to 2-3 USD/hour of work even when I charge an appropriate fee in lindens. I feel bad that the OP has been ripped off by fake photographers, but I don't agree with true professionals being thought of as not the "best" because they charge for their work. Just my two cents.

Actually most sales reps stay in the studio to greet customers and help them book with photographers. They don't "go around" anywhere, they are customer service agents.
