Hi there, This may be of help to you. * Group-owned land refers to the group for all aspects of ownership. * Like Linden Dollars paid to a group, parcel directory fees are divided evenly among all group members. * Object return tools consider objects along the following lines: o Owned by parcel owner are group-owned objects o Set to group are objects set to the group but owned by group members o Owned by others are all objects not owned or set to group (including objects owned by group members but not set to group) * If group-owned land is sold, the L$ received is distributed evenly the next day to everyone in the group (members and officers) who has the ability Pay group liabilities and receive group dividends (in the Accounting category of group abilities). * If you own land that you've deeded to a group and subsequently abandon it, the land is returned to the estate owner and is lost to the group. After abandoning your land, you still need to adjust the amount of land you've donated to the group in order to be billed accurately. * Land tier donated to a group is always considered active, whether or not it's currently being used to hold land. I sympathise with you Kerri. My avatar is kinda top heavy lol...and finding prim/sculpt jackets to fit her is a nightmare. I am an experienced builder and even i have problems. Just try to tweak it as much as you can by choosing "edit linked parts" and have lots of patience.......the advice given by the others is good :-) Cait PS. i would maybe try hollowing the main belt prim more....see if that helps...also rotating it slightly so is lower at the front than the back can sometimes help.

I think avatars are definately getting shorter.....they used to call my avatar "the amazon" lol cos she was always around 90....but now i usually have her at 80, i know thats still tall but i am 6ft in RL so have to reflect that...lol :-) Cait

I always try to price competatively and it seems to work. I usually compare the item to others that are already for sale that are similar and make note of the features and differences and price according to that. You are free to price any item at any price, but my formula enables me to live from what i make. Cait

I dont like U2 so i cant say i have seen them lol. They are a bit too soft for my tastes. I have seen plenty of other tribute bands though, so i know the score. Cait

Yes I know its role play, but i don't agree they should get recognition as a "tribute band." There's plenty of live artists in second life with talent who are just there to entertain and its not all about the Lindens. LOL @ U2 in SL Cait

IMO they aren't tribute bands unless they sing live and even if they arent quite upto standard they deserve all the L$'s they get for trying :-) I think to just let their "look-a-like" AV stand there and play a guitar and expect tips for it is an insult really. Where is the talent in that? Cait

I think you do need to have some common interests to build a great friendship. A difference in opinion keeps things interesting and of course to find a person interesting is always a great foundation to build a lasting friendship :-) Cait

Hi there and welcome to SL :-) I would say to start off trying to build something a bit smaller to start with, like a house or a skybox.Go to a sandbox to learn the basics. There are always people around who can help you. To build a cathedral is a big task for even an experienced builder so I would advise you to build up to that when you get more used to building, you need to get used to working with co-ordinates and shaping prims first :-) Good luck and have fun! My AV is pure fantasy........the only things we have in common physically are we both have black hair and brown eyes and cleavage :robottongue: I do everything in SL that I cant do in RL, I build mainly. I mean its not like I can just start laying bricks in RL lol....although I do have some interest in interior design RL. I personally think mundane things should stay out of SL as we have enough in RL. Saying that, I do build bathrooms and flushable toilets and even kitchens with eating animations but I just think there is demand for it so I will build what people want :robotwink: Cait

I dabbled with creating clothing, shoes and boots and lost interest. I now buy most of what i wear and finance this with what i make from building homes and furniture so I have the best of both worlds I think...lol. :-) Cait
