  1. Just certs expiration. Some AWS migration expediencies slow the response actions a bit but that's the essence. @Lance Kent try logging in to Ahern directly and see how things go.
  2. It's not entirely back yet but some SLS regions on Aditi are now working and being tested. Ahern for one (not Morris or Dore and Bonifacio is a little sick at the moment). Recommend waiting a bit but if you need to get work done...
  3. There's a point where it simply becomes tradition...
  4. Certs expired on aditi simhosts. Poking various people but this may be awhile.
  5. The automatic system isn't robust yet. Really, really, really.... file a support ticket and work it until things are correct.
  6. In theory, some are coming. I don't know the schedule but I have heard the cursing.
  7. I'd normally say turn this into an enhancement (*cough* to v1 levels) request but be careful what you wish for. Someone may remember that this was to be disabled along with xml-rpc a decade ago.
  8. I accidentally did maintenance on part of the events system recently. Be on the lookout for behavioral changes...
  9. I've thought about introducing Linden Flies to the inventory. Then viewers can implement modes around tracking the flies in the region. Get something like this going on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ypri1vQ8agE
  10. The system is janky by design. We'll fix it someday.
  11. This is becoming less true today and in the future. While 2.5 core peak usage in the past made single core speed very important, more parallelism is going into the viewer. You'll still want that high core speed but more and more, work will be found for additional cores.
  12. Thanks for double checking and RTFMing but go ahead and file another ticket. We have problems doing this for ourselves and it takes a few tries sometimes.
  13. @dylan86bo If you don't mind making the information public, what region are you logging into?
  14. And Akamai's edge throughput runs around 250Tb/s for comparison. Landing in a new region is like a very, very badly constructed web page full of javascript and duplicate images.
  15. We use a lot of load-bearing posters in our work.
  16. Take one or more of those Reference #'s (fresh, if possible) and include them in a support ticket. Using a VPN is one way. Another that may work is having your cable modem/fiber box/router renegotiate a new IP address from your ISP. Both of these can fail for various reasons.
  17. Take that 'Reference #' and include it in a support ticket. They will know what to do. And this should clear in time (hours).
  18. Open https://login.agni.lindenlab.com/cgi-bin/login.cgi in a browser on the computer with the problem. That will fail with an error. Look for a 'Reference ID' or 'Reference #' somewhere on the error page. Take that ID to support and that should help. (This kind of problem will clear eventually.) If you do not see such an ID, the problem is elsewhere and the answer starts with the SecondLife.log file.
  19. Unofficial word is that 579248 (on RCs) will go the the main channel Tuesday. Lox tanking underway...
  20. If you get something that works well, please share it here. There are good routers and bad routers and mediocre routers. Good to know which are which.
