Not having been in SL for some time, Just downloaded lateste SL Version. All my Avatar movements are very jerky, anyone got some ideas how to smooth out my walking,turning, sailing etc. ?

I know I can Abandon my current home and re-apply for a new one. But I believe it is automatically assigned to me. What I want is to find a home with a sea view? There appear to a few with know owners shown in the "About Land" So How do i claim one that is empty?

I would like to purchase a motor cuiser, and understand from a vendor there are at least 41 free seas to sail a boat on? I do own a small boat and know of only two seas that I can rez a boat. Can anyone, perhpas the wonderful Lindens can advise what, and where i can use a 500 prim boat for free. If not what sims can i moore up at, and how many Lindens is the rent?.. There seems very little I can find out about living on the high seas in a boat? Any advise appreciated.

A friend of mine keeps being logged out of SL, after 3/4 minutes.using both the SL Veiwer and Pheonix Viewer. With her own PC. Her ISP is ORANGE here in the UK. The tech guys at Orange, insist it is not their fault. But when I have taken my own PC to her location, and connected my PC to her ISP, SL logs me out after 3/4 minutes. Yet when i connect my own PC back home to my own ISP, (Not Orange) I can access SL perfectly ok. I am at a loss to help her. Can anyone offer any help? thanks Blandford.,

I too, am shown as logged in to SL when I'm not My freinds think i am ignoring them, The HELP, or so called Customer Care, should be renamed Customer Don't Care. Sent a fault slip, 4 days ago.. still cannot get looged in and nothing done by the help team.. How long does it take to do a restart? I'm a premimum customer, Do you think I can get a pro rata refund ???

Thank you both, I rather thought that was the answer... I have advised my freind to go through all the hair fittings until she finds the smallest. or a bald one LOL.. then adjust in "appearence" And dont do it again.... go buy a decent hair. Good lesson learnt.

Hi A new SL user freind just phoned and asked me "How do I get hair of my head".. "I just clicked wear on an ICON which looked like a brown wig, from my inventory. Now I cannot remove it." She has benn able to wear and remove other items. I know the icon she means, It's Brown i believ, and looks like a wig!. But I have no idea how to remove it, or take it off... I was warned NEVER to use that type of icon. as it cannot be removed ??? Any one help her, via me.  . Thanks Blandford. 

I would like to thank those who have given me advise... Your notes solved my problem, and I learnt a lot about PRIMS, and how to see how many I had in my new house. I would like to warn all other NEW LINDEN home owners... to be very careful when buying fittings etc for the new house.. MAKE SURE you know how many prims each item is. look for and GO TO LOW PRIM shops DONT BUY HIGH PRIM ITEMS, or like me you will waste your L$, Blandford.

Can anyone tell me why i cannot rez "Some" items of furniture and others I get a message saying ""Cannot rez here protected land. Ryu is full. ?""  Who do i contact ?? It's annoying to see half my 117 prims in my new house.. and other bits i cannot rez.
