I have been watching totally enthralled at D-LAB's latest creation, PIU Piccoli, animated, interacting, wooden toys. How is this possible? I have played with prim animators, with some success. Yet these seem to behave in ways that could not be pre set. Each wooden figure moving from one ride/snack bar, to another. So I guess they make use on sensors and some form of pathfinding? SL is a joy for sure and a toy like this has made my Christmas. Anything that makes one curious, has to make SL the place to be. Would love to see how you would code two randomly placed cubes, such that one could locate and move to the other. Perhaps I am just plain dumb, but so far, my attempts have failed miserably.
