  1. Mitzie, what they mean is that you create a basic prim, or even a complicated prim set with buttons. The design is entirely up to you. Once you have created your prim set, you drag the script and the notecard into it. Once that is done, you can use the prim set you created as your applier either as a HUD attachment or as something razzed on the ground. With button prime and the correct setup, you could set it ways of switching to different textures. I haven't done this yet, just researching it now for a project I'm working on. Hope this helps
  2. On the 25 group limit (I remember when it was 10) I understand the issue involves server resources being used to check the groups against items like security settings for land, etc. I can completely understand this limit. However, I've always had in the back of my mind the question of why couldn't we have the concept of active/inactive groups. For example, I have many groups that I need to rez vendors at many of the malls in SL. It is a pain when I have to juggle group memberships and re-request a dropped group when I need to re-rez a vendor at a particular store. Under my concept, I wouldn't have to drop the group entirely. I could just flag it as inactive. There could still be a 25 active group limit. For purposes of the sim, only the active groups would need to be checked against security. The inactive ones would just be placeholders that could be activated at any time. Am I completely off base on how the group system works and/or the issues involved with raising the group limits? Would this be a potential solution?
