ITS A BUG! The latest changes in MP screwed the stored maturity level. NOW i have to reset it every time. NO it is not my browser (i tried others). No, it is not a case of "refreshing" IT IS A BUG and should be reported by everyone that sees this problem!

The cheating is rampant in Linden Realms, as stated by others above. And worse, the solution appears easy to me. A simple script that determines the velocity of agents on the sim can spot the cheating hud activity easily. Once detected, the agents UUID would be recorded in a list and if their velocity exceeds a normal value within a short time, they are automatically ejected. I have actually written this script and tested on my own parcel. I have suggested this type of solution to the governance team with no response.There is a group Linden Realms (unofficial) wherein residents are letting other residents know about the cheaters and we can get several abuse reports sent against the worst offenders. It is frustrating when we see the same cheating bots return again and again, but there does appear to be a slow attrition of cheating bots on the realms. I cannot understand the reluctance of governance team to address this cheating issue. There is NO other online game that allows rampant cheating with no consequences.

I think we DESPERATELY need to have Relay For Life donation and information Kiosks at the Linden Realms workshops (where the residents cash out their crystals for $L). This would be a GREAT WAY for residents to support Relay For Life, would help generate interest and public awareness for Relay For Life AND provide an opportunity for groups supporting Relay For Life to hold events at Linden Realms to help raise donations! The tangible benefits are great, with almost NO down-side (there is the cost of the prims to rez the kiosks, and I suppose some minor lag increase). The intangible advantages are great! More resident involvement in Linden Realms and Community Events, promotion of community involvement, etc. I bet everyone can see the advantages of having a donation kiosk at linden realms. It might even start a trend of involvement in these many charities by residents that would not normally be able to donate, they can volunteer some time at Linden Realms to earn some points for donation. It's been over a week, the item never showed i assume since you never replied that it was fixed. Too bad, I hope you were not counting on sales of the item. good luck on the next product - i hope you have better luck (yes its all about luck unfortunately)

Magic boxes are often borked thanks to ineptness on market changes. as they go to direct delivery they will first destroy our business. i put an item in the magic box (i have about 100 items on marketplace now so its not close to first time for me) and yet after 6 hours of resetting magic boxes, putting item in multiple different names, synching the magic box from the inventory management page - NOTHING will make the item appear. And it is a dated item they wont even read the support ticket for weeks at the minimum! So what to do? hate lindens more is my solution although it is well past critical mass of hatred. Write support ticket and wait for the form letter to tell nothing has happend they are now closing it. Move on with my life and be thankful that other grids are less borked. Finally, I will once again remember the wonderful days of Slexchange (long before corporate fools got their grubby fingers in it) and how not only did it work but items sold! those were the days. The solution is just make more items and hope that some of them get thru the mess that is marketplace and end up as a sale. It can happen if you just keep adding items a few will get thru. PS - no way is moving to another region going to make an ounce of difference, and I of course assumed you already know how to reset magic boxes and synch. That is explained better in the knowledge base and doesnt need to be repeated here.

Criticism of V2 will continue forever. The worst news is the impending demise of Viewer 1 (hereinafter referred to as Standard Working Version) means that either they had better get Viewer 3 into Beta quickly or expect a flood of 3rd party viewers that are repackaged V1.25.3. V2 is for newbies anyway. The old premium land owners//content creators are ignored or "archived" into some back corner of a forum. Yes - this is a hoax. You cannot be banned for having an item named IP_REPLACEMENT in your inventory - lindens put it there! When an item (in this case an animation) is decided to be illegally copied, lindens pull that item from ALL inventories (inside chimera, inside your inventory, inside a boxed item) and replace it with a simple animation (its just turning around slowly) called IP_REPLACEMENT. If you want, you can keep these remnants - but its pretty boring and not worth cluttering your inventory. You have no risk of being banned, obviously. If you are not making illegal copies - you will not be banned for having them. When the items are found in your inventory, you are given a form email that explains that they have been replaced. If you paid for these illegal animations - you will not get your money back. If you gave others a copy of these illegal animations, they will find them replaced in their inventory too. The hoax is similar to the "there is a virus called XXXX tell everyone you know". This is bluntly the stupidest hoax around (what legitimate agency uses the "tell everyone you know" method of disseminating information?). Similar is the "so and so is a griefer stealing everything you own and removing your balance - ban them without cause now before they steal your balance" hoax. NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND SHOULD FOLLOW THESE HOAXES - it is a way for griefers to cause trouble. In fact, innocent people are banned all the time because people will believe these unfounded statements without investigation.
