Thank you SO much for writing this up for me. What about the price being charged to the buyer other than the monthly tier? How does that get handled? Isn't that a resident to resident transaction?

How does the ownership transfer when you buy a full sim? Is there a way to be screwed by an unscrupulous resident by paying but not receiving the sim? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

If I lose my giant inventory, or I'm stuck with a poorly designed, unintuitive and badly supported viewer like the current official SL viewer, my SL days will be over. Emerald/Phoenix/Firestorm kept SL alive for me.

Firestorm has free classes that explain how to load the AO, and the instructors are patient and will answer questions and help.

I've never seen an AO that has talking in every stand (or sits?) but there are some with decent single talking animations. You might have to string together your own with all the good talking anims.

For me the site was already too laggy as it was. Now I have to wait for ads to serve up. I find it insulting. I spend enough on there that I shouldn't have to see ads.

When I made an alt with the new system of newbie choices, I had a hard time also. Body parts did not want to load onto me. If I was truly new I would have given up because it looked terrible. I had to Replace with a folder of stuffs that I gave myself from my regular ava and then build back up from scratch. I was definitely not "born" looking in any way ok. And it happened more than once! Very discouraging to truly new people.

Join up to some of the larger Groups in a subject that interests you. There can be a lot of chatting there.

I'm looking for scary/aggressive/monstery moving animations for my monster alt. The body/skin came with some, but I want to flesh it out a lot more. I'm talking about standing on two legs kinds of animations. I found some in about two more places but there must be more. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!
