  1. I'm interested in getting the Asus K52Jr-X2 for my birthday. For those of you who helped me out in the thread where I asked if the Gateway NV5207u could run Second Life on medium settings, thanks. My mother told me they could work something out since I really would like the Asus K52Jr-X2 instead (it's a better computer than the Gateway NV5207u.) My question is if the Asus K52Jr-X2 can run Second Life on minimum settings. I've attached a file that has the specifications copy/pasted into it, since I couldn't copy/paste them directly into the thread for some reason.
  2. Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm currently looking at a laptop that costs $829.99. Too bad gaming laptops are so expensive...
  3. I'm looking to buy a laptop and I need one that can run Second Life without serious FPS lag on medium graphics settings. However, it has to be under $650. Any ideas?
  4. I'm looking for a laptop, and I came across the Gateway NV5211 (http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668332.php) I looked at the system requirements for Second Life, and I think it is compatible, but I'm not sure, partly because the laptop I'm interested in getting uses Windows 7, which I'm unsure if Second Life works with or not. So, my question is: Is the Gateway NV5211u able to run Second Life on Second Life's mid quality and speed setting without there being a really low FPS?
  5. At the moment, I'm 17, & I'm playing on the Teen Second Life grid as a result. I have a yearly subscription as well. When I turn 18, do I have to provide any sort of age verification? I've heard that my account will be automatically moved from the Teen grid to the Second Life grid, but is there anything else I need to do to unlock certain areas of the map or something like that?
