logging on takes three attempts and teleport causes me to quit...... tried different viewers

with newly installed windows 8 I am having all kinds of problems including wearing clothes to tp ing

installed windows 8 sl is a nightmare clothes wont load, cant tp help please

a friend's avatar can be right next to me But , while all others see him I cant..... IM send/recieve ok.... Radar says out of range for this avatar while all others in the area show normal and including their range... My equipment is a Dell pentium 4 desk top with a satelite ISP with good download speed the problem occurs in all sites.....I use Pheonix as a viewer. and this avatar is the only invisible one. he can see me all others can see him,,,, IM and local are normal.I see no evidence he has been muted
