hello, i am searching for the script command to get the existing URL on a prim. example : my prim is set to "www.youtube.com", what would be the script to get and say it in the chat for example ? sorry if this is an already answered question but i searched for hours and found nothing. i know there is a command as Getlinkmedia etc... but i cannot manage make it work. thank you in advance for an example if possible. skywalker

Hello, most of the radio scripts read a notecard stations included in the radio. this is a problem for update and updates are to be done individually for each radio. That is why i would need a scripter for a script loading "genres" and "name+stations" in a googlesheet file i will maintain and share outworld. the googlsheet is proposed here as an example : EXAMPLE so the script is supposed to : - load "genres list" existing in the first column, maybe approx 15 genres. i suppose this is a http request. - propose those genres in a dialog menu for user of the radio inworld - load "stations list" in googlesheets per "genre" selected in the menu inworld. Stations are in columns 2 and 3 (but could also be in another sheet of the googlefile if needed) : column 2=name / column 3 = url http. Maybe 15 stations per genre. i suppose this is a http request. - setting the URL in parcel media and launch the parcel media on. the script should propose at the beginning the "all", "group" or "owner" option for use of the radio, and a "off" button. there may be various radios inworld working with this script connected to the same googlesheet. script should be full perms for me only. Please contact me inworld for if you can do that for me at reasonnable price. Thank you Rolig. That is very technical for me. I can easily build a googlsheet as external server for making possible http request, but i would not be capable of transforming an existing radio script based on local notecard to make it work properly with external googlesheet. May be someone has an idea ? Rolig : just noticed we joined SL the same day : Oct 9, 2009 !

Hello, I am searching for a script that would make it possible for a radio to search its stations genre, names and url not in a notecard attached in the radio itself, but in one or more notecard(s) included in a central server not in the same sim. That would make it possible to update all the linked radios gridwide in one unique update of the notecard(s) in the central server. so this does not consist in sending updated notecard to the owner of the radio (already existing). The radio has no notecard in it. Only the script that communicates with central notecards server. Thank you in advance for any help or offer. Skywalker.

Hello I am working on a script for land media. I am facing maybe a stupid problem, which is the following: my script does not manage to automatically select in the media tab the "Web content" text/html category. I suppose it has to deal with "PARCEL MEDIA COMMAND TYPE" but after i am lost. i did not find a table or a list of the various existing PARCEL MEDIA COMMAND TYPES Thank you in advance for any help.

Hello Cookie, i managed to make the update working properly, really cool ! Was also wondering : to what next owner properties were the items provided by update servers set regarding the MOD COPY TRANS options ? is there any way that the old version to be destroyed automatically when update rezzed ? because after the update the client has 2 radios (the old and the new). has no client abused the update system to have many radio to redistribute ? thank you (sorry i am French, i hope you understand my strange English)

Hello the problem with many inworld radio is they are a mess for finding exactly what you need. So i have an old scripting project never accomplished about radios inworld : Would someone help me with that project or make an inworld reasonnable offer for the following development please as i am not enough skilled in scripting : is it possible to link an inworld radio script fwith a googlesheet which will includes outworld all the URL that i would maintain ? (so the inworld radio has no notecard content with URLs, but the script would search the updated radio URL list in the googlesheet upon demand.) Some most important goals are : a) each line of the googlesheet should be structured like that : GENRE/STATION/URL (exemple : Disco, Disco ball, http://xxx), so the script inworld would let choose first the genre (DISCO, 80s, Smoothjazz, ...) and after various stations in the genre selected before. that will solve the problem with many radio inworlds that are a mess of stations. b) the script should also offer the option to add owner favorites in a notecard included in the radio. c) the googlesheet should test the radio URL each day and indicate with red or green signal working and dead links, so it would be fast to maintain the list. Maybe the sheet may send an email weekly with dead links. I know there are some googlefunction by i did not manage to make them work with radio URLs, i dont know why. d) the googlsheet should answer to the request or all inworld radios using the script, whoever is the owner, but only me could access the googlesheet ourworld to see the list itself. e) the script let the owner choose who can operated the radio when rezzed : owner/group/everybody. Hello, i have bought on marketplace something i thought to make 3 separate beards but i had the surprise to receive one unique texture showing on the 3 beards on the same alpha transparent texture ! so it is impossible to apply it as a facial tattoo because the 3 beards are shown simultaneously and not at the appropriate place on the face :=). i am bad at gimp or like that, would someone help me and splittling the attached texture into 3 separate alpha textures so i can apply them for 3 different beards facial tattoes ? i if necessary let me know inworld. thank you in advance.
