The second owner behind was there when I rented, still with banlines up and with nothing built on the ground, only a skybox up beyond the reach of the banlines. I think it belongs (or used to belong) to the Laguna Blu community, it was never part of CC. The front parcel was mine and Kitty made clever use of the L-shape, making a terraced garden with a raised area in the short leg of the L, and a high wall separating my parcel from the small one. I don't really mind when other people put up banlines, except where they are adjacent to sailing routes or main driving routes like the Circuit Du Corse, then they're a pain f you crash your boat or car into them. I'm not likely to be using anything faster than a horse around CC though.

I love that you built that road, I really do. (Even though it ends right before my parcel starts). I even thought, yes, I can do the same and buy the roadway in front of mine, but it works out at over 300sq m, which takes me up into a tier band that I can't afford, and I can't even use in my LI allocation because my parcel is in Emyniad and the road is in Durdane. Sigh. The parcel I really wanted was the one next door to yours, which now has nothing on it except that one old cottage with no landscaping whatsoever. That's the one I rented when I was in CC previously. Unfortunately I was too late for that one.

All the roads & paths are now abandoned, as is a chunk of Laserlight and Edgewalker, but the nicer parcels are still set for sale and still very low prices. Then there's my next door neighbour who has her parcel set for sate at L$48 per square metre. 😒

The only thing I can think of here is that something has affected the skeleton for one of you. A deformer that you wore, or... something. Try resetting skeleton/animations on both avatars and see if they match after doing that.

I used to rent in Durdane and when I heard about the sale I was very sad. I've just purchased another parcel across the road in Emyniad, not the same one I rented before (that one is already sold and with banlines up) but I'm keeping my landscaping in the spirit of Campbell Coast. It will be sad to see all of Kitty's beautiful work disappear, all the roads and footpaths and little streams between properties. We'll be little islands in a network of bare terrain. But I will stay, at least for a while. All that you see here, except for the dirt track and the trees in the far background, is my landscaping and will stay.

Starting today, my Firestorm AO stops working after every teleport. I can re-start it by opening it and clicking Reload, but it's getting annoying. Scripted AOs worn as an attachment are still working, even one using the same animations. Nothing on my end has changed (not wearing anything new that I haven't worn before without any problem). Is this happening to anyone else, or just me?

Region restarts? I dunno though, I just got randomly disconnected without any region restart warning so... *shrug*

Haven't tried the voice morphing, but for your first question, your Premium account cannot expire or end while you still have land or a Linden Home. It must renew, unless you abandon your land first, and then downgrade to basic. If you simply stop the payments without doing either of the above, then your account will be locked until you pay the arrears, and if you don't pay, it will eventually be banned.

Bots (scripted avatars running programs automatically) are not banned. Bots should be registered as bots so they don't count towards traffic. In those AFK sex places most of the people are not bots, they're just regular users parking their avatars there in hope of getting paid for doing nothing while they are busy in RL or doing something else. Its a bit like those old camping chairs from a gazillion years ago, except with added sex.

It really sounds like a failure of the page down key on your keyboard. If it's not stuck, then it's probably broken somehow, or has dirt under it.

Kupra is such a unique body shape, you will not get clothes for any other body to fit, with or without alphas (unless the clothing covers you completely from neck to wrists and ankles). I would suggest saving up some money to get clothes made to fit, and until you have enough, switch to a free body with a closer-to-normal shape. If you can spare L$200, then Lucybody is the best bet - it fits clothes made for Maitreya so you'll have no shortage of free clothes to keep you going. The body itself is free but it's about L$200 for the BOM installer. (A bit of marketing evil genius there). If you can't spare even L$200 then I would suggest getting the free version of ebody (curvy or classic - available in their own store and at Free Dove). There are a few free and cheap things for ebody - not many, but more than you'll find for Kupra at present, with Kupra being so new. You can't use alpha masks with ebody though, and you're limited to only very basic alpha cuts via the hud.

I have the free Ebody and I can confirm that (most of) the neck sizes are disabled on the hud. The free version has only "Small" and "Large", which I presume equate to 0 bodyfat and probably 24. The paid-for section of the hud has a range of numbered sizes from 0 to 48, but those are disabled on the free one. With a mesh head it doesn't matter what your bodyfat is; the neck will fit regardless, which is why most head and body makers have dropped these settings altogether. Honestly, the OP would be better off picking up a freebie or dollarbie mesh head rather than trying to make the body work with the classic head.

I see this quite a lot especially in the furry community. It generally means that they use a variety of different avatars and don't have one fixed appearance all the time. In the furry community, it often means that they can appear as several different animals rather than having one particular "fursona". I would class myself as a shapeshifter - although I have only one "fursona", I'm often human, or a blend of the two. A were-horse, I guess.

I think they would probably end up with the old homes continuing to exist in smaller numbers by deleting unoccupied regions and consolidating existing and new residents into fewer regions. They could probably manage with just one of those continents instead of four. But I don't think they will ever be removed completely. Bellisseria alone would never be enough.

I've only ever had one job in SL, in the very early years I was a furniture-maker. I dropped out when mesh arrived because I couldn't learn how to make it. That moment was just about the worst part of my SL employment history. I really miss it.

If the off-brand heads are built to the standard SL template (which I presume most are) then the skins to look for are those made for Genus and Catwa HDPro. Both of those heads also use the standard template (Lelutka doesn't, not even the old Lelutka, and old Catwa doesn't either).

The only circumstance in mainland when you can't build what you want is when it doesn't physically fit, either because the parcel is too small or the ground is not flat enough. You may be thinking of mainland communities like Campbell Coast. If you rent there, then obviously you're subject to the landlord's rules. But if you buy, there is absolutely nothing else preventing you from building what you want. You may choose to be polite and build in-theme, but there's nothing forcing you to. Which is why I think the owner of Campbell Coast is patently daft for offering parcels for sale instead of rent only.
