If I had a PG sim i'd allow them, mature/adult sim I would definitely not allow child avi's. Personally I have never understood why a grown man or woman would want to be a baby/young child. I can maybe understand wanting to reminisce you're youth so you create a 18+ younger version of yourself but a child...no offence to anyone but sorry I just think it's wrong. I have more of an acquaintance I run into every now and again who plays quite a young almost baby aged female child and does all the child talk that goes with it. Every time I see them I feel like flying all the way from Australia to Alaska and slapping him stupid while yelling 'YOU ARE A GROWN MAN!!!'

I know my male body came with bento hands as part of the package for the body but with heads you will need to make sure you buy a bento head if you want facial animations. As I said in another post facial animations are a nice addition and full credits to the creators for the amazing work they do but for me I couldn't justify the $4000L difference between a bento and non bento head. One final thing and probably the most important, demo, demo, demo. If you want to get the right look the first time without wasting lindens then you just have to try every demo head, body, shape, skin combination there is until you find the right look. My ex got me into mesh when I got back into SL and basically dragged me to certain spots and said this is what you want, now I wish I had tried ALOT more demos.

I paid $900 for my Catwa Justin head and I'm quiet happy with it. All the animations never really interested me so I didn't see the point in forking out thousands for a bento one.

There are plenty of emote HUD's on market place to buy which you can customise. Just make sure you don't emote the same things over and over, you need enough different emotes to get you through your ...shift. I think I must have been a natural with a vivid imagination because when I needed to learn how to emote it just came to me so I would sit down and fill in note cards with all these /me emotes to last me for hours which also saves you having to type everything out, copy/paste the emote into chat then enter the tippers name. Also ask your fellow dancers if you can look at their emote cards and change them around a little, that's what a few of the ladies did for me and all I had to do was change the 'her' parts to 'his' Oh and I had to learn to emote for my...ummmm....SL church Choir..yes that sounds more believable, I think I got away with it.
