  1. Howdy! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm looking into this and doing some research. I'll update with more shortly!
  2. I still see all the same colors as before... and after. BRB
  3. We are grinding them up for eggnog seasoning.
  4. This does not align with our spin on container homes.
  5. It certainly is upsetting to see that what was a genuine settings error in our reconfiguration of an estate's setting yesterday cause such a vociferous and unwarranted public response. In the spirit of yourself being a good steward to the very valuable helper volunteer core, who invests many countless and thankless hours of their time towards the efforts of on boarding new Residents to Second Life, I certainly hope this type of reaction would not occur in front of our new users, nor is carelessly displayed in such a public venue. As a partner, The White Tiger Mentor group has direct access to escalate issues to both Support and Product Operations whom are at the ready to both assist and help connect the group to the folks directly responsible. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
  6. We're back! Come check it out: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Linden Reveal/138/183/22
  7. The houses do not count against the land impact of the parcel they are sitting on. You either select a 512sqm parcel or a 1024sqm parcel, and the houses fit to each parcel will be sized appropriately.
  8. I can assure you it really is not open yet, I will bring it back when the team and I are ready. There are many channels we may receive feedback, this forum is only 1 of many.
  9. The old homes will be phased out and/or repurposed. I've never hidden this fact, what I don't know yet is timing. There is a balance I have to strike on available new Linden Homes vs the old and having enough supply to meet the demand of shutting down the old homes (also, blend of available themes to choose from). I have also contemplated keeping some of the old because it tickles my historian bones, some of the various community center or landmark places with the old homes will be preserved. Largely though, those regions will be shut down when the time is optimal.
  10. We can not go with every type of modern or mid-modern home style out there. We choose modern container homes with aesthetically asynchronous traditional drywall interiors, some architectural embellishments, and natural materials. There are 3 exterior material types with 9 colors present each.
  11. No, sorry, I'll be upfront as we will have to disappoint you in this case. We don't have the flexibility in the system to allow for the 512sqm homes to be placed on the 1024sqm parcels.
  12. Our architectural study on container homes, generally revealed that roofs, porches and overhangs were not structural. We did not see those sorts of features on the many represented examples we used for design guidance. Being that is a bit of a blank slate, I have no doubt that someone in the community will come up with interesting ways to use that roof as a deck. 😉
  13. These regions will run within our averages of 22-32 homes per region just like the rest.
  14. We have heard your feedback and we have decided to shut down the reveal region for an update. It seems that this may not have been representative of our best foot forward approach we have taken with the homes over the past. So I am here to make sure that everyone knows that we have not changed course, lessened our quality, mindfulness or retracted any of the heart and soul we put in to making these homes, themes and community building areas. Proof of the fact that I feel less present is actually due to how busy we are with continuing to do more, which is taking more and more of my time. I am still present, we all do still participate in everything we can in world within Bellisseria, and we are always trying to find new ways to engage on everything we can, including some great Resident run efforts and projects that I know many are involved in. That said, the reveal region will be back Really Soon™ after we've put some touches on it to make sure our imagination is still reflected in our work. Thank you everyone from the team and I for being involved! ❤️
  15. I think I've said somewhere in history that the original plan for Victorian was to have a commercial variant of the homes. Much like you find in RL, where many of a particular style of Victorian homes that lend themselves to having 1st floor stores or shops and the living quarters on the 2nd or 3rd floors. These homes would have been in their own zoning area that would have permitted that sort of activity and would be governed by a modified covenant. Milbank was conceived originally as a community fair type region with communal use spaces that could have allowed for pop-up sales events, etc. In general, I've been keeping the team focused on getting houses and community centers to everyone and not diverting our attention to some of the other features like commercial areas, but we do have a lot of thought and plans invested in doing something with it eventually.
  16. My idea was to take the Trick or Treat event and re-skin it. The Great Bellisseria Coal Collecting Event! Each person with a Linden Home in Bellisseria will get a coal bucket (pumpkin) to rez on their parcel. The objective is to run around and collect as many coal pieces (candy) in your santa sack (HUD) as you can find. The folks with the highest coal collected counts will get a visit from Santa Patch.

  20. As it seems this topic has outlived it's usefulness and most of the useful parts of the discussion have concluded, plus the fact that it seems like there is increasing difficulty to stay on topic. This thread is now closed. Thank you to everyone who provided thoughtful insight, proposals and engaging conversation that helped us navigate the situation with everyone involved.
  21. You all thought it wouldn't be done.....
