another business need that would work is more groups, there are many that have max groups for nothing that is of any enjoyment or even social, they are all so that they can rez at events or be part of an event, or mall, and most businesses often have three land, VIP/Store Group, staff or bloggers group types as well, so the ability to pay into that increased group need, just to even be able to be in a group that is not business related for some may change some ways creators tend to burn out.

I am fine with that though, I mean my store name Flair came from Scarborough Fair then Scarborough Flair because of my Fashion Blog, and then just Flair as a store name, had I gone to register Flair and there was already Flayr or Flare or Phlair I may have put more than five seconds of thought into it, and as I would have been paying for it, and of course a cost associated with changing it, there may have been more thinking done, and the same for those that want to ride on the coattails of other known names. I am not saying that LL should charge a lot, because that could get very costly over years of time, but a start off fee of say 25 dollars and then 10 dollars a year to maintain it seems reasonable...and those not wanting to pay a fee at all just run businesses with their avatar names that are already unique that no one can mimic.

As a consumer, I have often wished that listing dates were visible. Now, the bast I can do is sort newesty first.
I really don't think we need to enable sellers to remove "misguided" reviews, since, in the seller's eyes, anything unfavorable will likely be seen as misguided.
As it currently stands, you can have offline IMs forwarded to email. I have often wondered why people say to send them notecards because "IMs get capped," when they could just have IMs forwarded. Having a secondlife.com email address would be helpful in terms of having all correspondence about something in one place.
Yes there are a lot of businesses that have RL registration, however LL doing their own registry that meant just like names you could not input one if it was already taken would be a very helpful device. The other day I was looking for a random store, the name was pretty basic to be sure, but 8 stores came up and I had no way of knowing which was the one I was looking for. SL has the means to not have repeat names for avatars, so the same should go for Marketplace, and they could earn from it, and it is a business so it would be a business expense.
I have done blogs on names of businesses being really important in the past, also done blogs on IMs 'capping' as I know it is not true if you offline to email correctly

The review thing is more like moderators perhaps instead of actual LL employees, there are many cases of customers giving a 1 star review because they could not get a redelivery or they have some misunderstanding of the item, the time spent on dealing with those is not something LL should have to do the cost associated is silly, also many fear putting demos on marketplace because it gives haters a chance to ruin someone's products, and there have been many cases of that over the years of people using MP as a way to bully creators.

* Business Name ownership/registration the ability to lock in your own business name so that someone else cannot have the same name as your store just as RL does...how this has not been a cash grab for LL all along has always baffled me. Which would be a recurring yearly fee, that way when people stop actually actively being part of SL their Marketplace stores do not get to just float forever, but would just return to stores of the owners names if not paying the fee.
*Separate Tabs/Stores in Marketplace, so that you can have a discounted section, Demos tab, resellers tab
* A Vendor system that was usable in stores (no commission fee in world) so that stores are not relying on other residents to provide those tools and then potentially leave SL and you have to redo whole stores again.
* Marketplace to not have your oldest random items as the items shown when searching for a store in merchant tab, the ability to curate it as you would want your store to be showing its best work. (Example I sold mostly nails, but my thumbnails are random other things)
* Date of listings visible so that newer customers can understand that something created and listed in 2009 may not be the same as something created and listed in 2022.
* Ability to remove misguided reviews so LL is not paying someone to do that, and then them deciding if it is bad at all. This could be overseen so that no one is just deleting reviews that are justified.
* Being able to give stars but not write something and have your name attached, not just because you want to give a bad rating but just because it would be more likely the ratings would increase if people were just able to click the stars not have to come up with actual text and may feel uncomfortable doing so.* Redelivery for marketplace purchases to be available in world, so that a customer does not have to work out where they purchased something in the past, and track it down.
* EMAIL ACCOUNTS there is no reason that we as residents business or personal should have to saturate Gmail and Yahoo and all those services with avatar name accounts, when we could just have mySLname@secondlife.com and for a business premium the ability to have that brand name be the email address you own also. so Brandname@Secondlife.com
This could also mean that capping IMs rubbish and so on is no longer a thing, because stores could essentially just ask that all store related communication be done to brandname@secondlife.com
And residents in emergencies or just for personal reasons would not have to log in but know that emailing their friend at their secondlife.com email would reach them and not cap

2021 is Now Open
Hair Fair 2021 has officially opened to the public! We have six regions of hair and hair accessories created by designers from all over Second Life who have come together to help Wigs for Kids by donating a percentage of everything they sell to the charity. We also have donation booths and bandana and Hair Fair Hares that donate 100% to Wigs for Kids. There are gifts in many of the booths and a great range of Male and Female styles. Booths that contain Male hair are indicated with the
in the sky above the booth.
The event is two weeks long, and will close on July 4th, we hope to see you at the event. Below are the slurls to each region and the items that will be released in each booth.
Due to RL some of our participants were not able to join us this year, we hope that they can rejoin us again next year.

that is accumulative of all sell orders at that price
that is not one person. I also sold at 259 last week and it happened in about 27 hours and was about the same amount above it as now, if you cancel you lose your spot in the queue and have to start over, but I have done the speedy option a few times, which now its sitting at 260 if you wanted to sell at 261 it would sell usually within the hour and often in minutes, but if not in a hurry, don't be that person that makes it higher I have not market sold since about 2008

I am juggle binging, Boy Meets World (Disney+ you complete me) and catching up on some BlueBloods.
I Binged Season 3 of Ann with an E loved that show each and every season.
Binged Soundtrack what an incredible idea that show was, not sure how or what Season two would be though.
I have Prime, Stan, Disney + and Netflix, I am sorted

Thank you for this challenge, going back to the exact same time frame a decade ago was nostalgic. I really miss The Deck.
I loved the way many peoples pictures were an almost exact representation of themselves ten years on, with only the improvements to SL itself changing their look, them keeping the same them so to speak.

. If you mean the blazer it is from Coco and is called the *COCO*_BlazerWithoutShirt_Black and then I added the fur sleeves *COCO*_FurSleeves_Black . Under it is just a cami top i made that I have at Flair. I hope you still see this @Vana Gears and thank you @Stephanie Misfit for your kind words ♥

Because not everyone wants to not be human, I have worn ears and a tail but would never call myself a Neko, because that was a grouping of people, where as I was just buying things that were cute and wearing them until the next clothing change, which back in 06 used to occur usually around every fifteen minutes. I have worn the old snoopy avatar for all of about 10 seconds because that thing was like the original character test, if you wore that if something was wrong with you and then went back you were healed, it was just the full change I know, but it worked. I have blogged a full furry avatar of a Cat hybrid to show that such a product was created and wonderful, but would never call myself in that moment a Furry. I used to have a pack of Baby Furs that used to come and hang out with me where I worked back in the day, because my Bosses let them be there, let them feel safe there outside of Furnation which at one point was so sex orientated they did not want to be there. My best friend was a Kirin for a year, the next year a 512 parcel sized dragon, but he never called himself by a title he was just him.
I do not know of any petitions, if they exist that seems like something to report because it would be essentially a hate crime. It feels like a long time ago to me that there was such a division humans (skins as I call them) vs Furries. I really hope it is not the case anywhere, SL is for everyone, but the right to be a table with cake on it (my other friend has that avatar) or a Tiny, or a Fur or a three legged donkey, is just as the same as peoples right to be the same or different than they see themselves in RL.
I miss those little balls of fluff sometimes, they were adorable, voice coming to SL changed a lot of that for many, the demands on people to talk etc, kind of broke the fantasy.

This is why so many of us are still here, it was awesome, shopping was because you were actually doing something, as in you ran to a store bald in a formal gown to buy new hair because you were going to an event, an event then was actually something social not a shopping location...we called them MALLS. The interactions with people were amazing, people made lifelong friends waiting for lucky chairs, they camped, they met people working, my partner rang my bell in the store I managed for assistance. People would come in and spend time exploring regions that were mainstore locations but were landscaped and providing social areas for customers. When something big happened everyone knew, when something bad happened everyone knew. I met one of my closest friends in the middle of a protest against a store that was selling copybotted skins. I miss those days, the social aspect of Second Life seems to have spread outwards to Social Media instead of inworld, I hope that that changes, but I do understand being able to communicate with thousands over the limits of a region or a group.

If you are wanting some sort of RL privacy, I suggest each time you log out, that you go to log in and type something else, not sure it will definitely work, but it might, or if it is just one account you don't want seen, log in another before finishing up for the day.

382K I just deleted a bunch of stuff, I deleted over 100K when I could not log in with bento beta, and if I actually unpacked things it would be much higher. I am starting to see that I have lost a lot of stuff I kept that was system, not because I knew BOM was coming, but just because I wanted to keep things that to me were art into themselves. I am excited about BOM but am sad there are many things that I owned that I will not be able to get because I did not buy from MP I used to shop in stores mostly, and there were no redelivery machines in the olden days, and the creators are mostly long gone.
I do hope that with BOM we will see a return of some of our highly talented texture creators.
I am also looking forward to creating some hybrid looks out of system layers and mesh, I did that with sculpts, and some early on mesh, so that is going to be exciting again.

it has to be an active in world account as marketplace items are in folders in inventory, so if they are gone gone the items will not be listed. Demos are a good way of testing prior which should be done anyway, but even redeliveries now that that is a thing, are going back as far as 2011 for many, as long as the account is active, showing in search in world, you will be getting the item, and if not then you can lodge a ticket with LL if they are inactive that is

Does that ever get used by LL for anything other than submit your picture of the day ? I have not noticed it ever changing and I just got an Email from LL about changes to buying regions can be L's only no USD etc, which seems like an important announcement. Am I just not paying attention and it does get used, and if it doesn't why isn't anyone putting all the actual SL announcements on there ? even if they link to another forum post for input.

try logging in on the SL viewer and see if people see you there, then log back in on the FS one

It was very common back when I started to be referred to the forums, to jiras to the website with Torley videos etc. It was just part of the tool kit we were provided. While people these days do not tend to know about them, it is not only that they do not know about, there are still Residents that do not know about the transaction page, how to find information on purchases made if things go awry. Do not know about abuse reports, or what a ticket is and can do etc. Lots of missing steps that would enhance user knowledge.

I find it interesting really as it is often a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't. I often see people getting railed on just for asking a question because the people that regularly frequent the forums have seen the same question asked and answered multiple times. So then if someone goes seeking the older info and then does pick it up, add to it etc, they get railed on for necro posting ( I just caught myself saying in my head necro like neko, neeeeeeeeecro posting). I think that many write in forums the same way they do in social media or even in world groups, they are not going to look for previous discussions, they want an answer to their question in their way at that time, and I don't think there is that much wrong with that, other than a very full forum...it might be time to spend some time on explaining and detailing better where things should go, what category you will find things in etc. I wanted to post something the other day and for the life of me I still have no clue if it would be allowed and where I would put it.

I am not sure how you would abuse it, because the email would be part of your account, its not something you make, can edit or anything of any kind, it would be your SL username@SLwhatevertheywouldcallit everyone would know they have an email when they join up as it would be provided, and it would be very easy for them to be clear that LL would never use it to communicate with Residents, they don't communicate with us using their emails now (unless something you know you are a part of) so I would not be too concerned about that. It could also be something you access via dashboard if needed, but something outside of SL would be very helpful.
