So, something hilarious happend this weekend that you lot might find amusing. On Friday, @Maitimo invited me to a party in Bellisseria, but I couldn't get in. I was banned. From the whole of Bellisseria. I submitted a support ticket to find out why and it turns out.... I was a bot all along! This goes back several years, to when I decided to make a bot NPC bartender in my club. So I set him to bot status (or so I thought), eventually decided it was far too complicated and decided to turn him back to human. Only to find that I'd already done so (or so I thought). Nope. it turns out that when I originally set the bot status, I was logged in on the wrong account. And I've been a bot ever since. I was able to re-set it and attend a different party in Bellisseria. Maybe I should treat myself to a new cyborg avatar, to celebrate.

Lelutka heads are much smaller than Catwa heads. You'll need to switch to the smallest size in the Doux pack.

Likely there's more shine on the body than on the head (more shine makes the surface look darker in certain lighting conditions). If you've been messing with the button next to the BOM button, make sure you set it back to Masked, if you haven't already done so. It won't affect your mismatch problem but it will affect your ability to wear system alpha layers.

It's not identical, but it's close enough that most standard skins and cosmetics will work to some extent. You won't get your eyebrows under your chin or your lipstick on the back of yor head, at least.

Too little, too late. The only thing that can save this brand now is for them to release both Catya and Daniel as permanent freebies (like Genus did with one of theirs). Doing this might encourage more creators to go back to including Catwa and/or standard template content. Or, Catwa could include EVO-X in their newer heads. Without content available for Catwa heads, no-one is going to buy them at any price-point.

I got that skin in about 2014 or 2015 but it was made waaay before that. I can see I'm wearing it in the 2017 pic, on the classic head. The 2020 pic is the same skin on my old catwa head, and the latest one is on my Lelutka head (Alain). It actually looks far better on the Lelutka head (which it wasn't made for) than it ever looked on the classic head (which it was). Weird, that.

I don't fully understand what PBR will change (other than adding stuff with reflections on them) and I don't know if my PC will be powerful enough to render it anyway, so no, it's not affecting purchases for me at all.

They will rapidly run out of usernames if they don't. Look forward to the only names available having 12 numbers attached to the end. And I've always said, the best way to do it would be to enable a single underscore in the name, anywhere except the first or last character. The underscore to be rendered in the viewer as a space. Hey presto, you get a first name and a last name of your choice (i.e not from a short and stupid list), and you're still a "resident" so it won't mess up any system they have now.

LAQ has a... either a skin or a tattoo layer, I can't remember exactly, which is shaded around the chin to give a realistic double-chin effect with the right slider settings. IIRC, it's in their group gift collection, but it's been a while since I got it.

I'm one of those people who hasn't changed their avatar AT ALL, except for quality upgrades. I am and have always been the same, with shoulder-length ginger hair (I wear it short when I'm doing vintage), the same short beard, the same tattoo. Even my skin is about 12 years old; I went back to it as soon as BOM became a thing. There is (or used to be) a Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar on one ofthe lower decks of the SS Galaxy. I'm not sure if it's still there, but AFAIK the whole build has been preserved as-is, so it probably is.

I ditched my Gianni body in favour of Belleza Jake almost a year ago. I don't want to be thin but I at least want a balanced body. Jake is muscular like a swimmer, Gianni is a steroid-gym-bunny who skips leg day every day.

I managed to achieve a fat shape with one of my alts using Kalhene Erika: and with Belleza Freya: Freya is discontinued but AFAIK it's still available for sale in the Belleza main store (hidden at the back of the Men's section) This is the best you'll get with any of the main bodies. For a more extreme look there's Piggu June which has also been mentioned, but there's hardly anything for it to wear. Unless you already know how to make and rig mesh clothing, you'll be better off with Erika or Freya.

Stuff goes missing fairly regularly. Every time there's "asset server isssues", something may disappear. Seeing 12 years of asset server glitches all at once, those disappearances are going to be noticeable. These days, most disappearances can be resolved by getting a re-delivery, either via the marketplace or Caspervend. This is probably unlikely for items that are more than 12 years old. Best advice I can offer is to use your new-found wealth to replace your missing items with newer stuff of better quality.
