Hi, Im the Personal Relations Manager for Second Life Roller Derby Association (SLRDA). We would like to host a charity poker night/casino night. Im not sure if under the new TOS thats possible. Im get so many stories from people on what can and cant be done. Its near impossible to find a Linden "in-world" to help us with this. And my concern is that we do everything we can to follow LL TOS in this matter. If anyone could please...please..please..with prim cherries on top..explain if and how this can be done. Greeting Derby Fans! As you all know, one of the best parts of being in the SLRDA family is playing roller derby. As a league we strive to bring the availability of SL roller derby to all walks of life. Coming into our second year as an organization, we are looking to open new gateways to reach those in SL who are unable to skate due to time zones. Our answer to that, forming a Euro Team! This would be a team that would fall under the umbrella of SLRDA in all rules and codes of conduct. The only difference would be in the times of practice and official bouts. As a force in the sporting realm of Second Life, we look to set the standards of availability for our members. By opening the times and flexibility of our bouts, we gain a whole new pool of members to pull from. Which can only prove to further the goals of SLRDA. As a league, we're looking to see what interest there is in forming the Euro team. Current SLRDA members who would be willing to volunteer with this team in any fashion. Current teams that would be willing to sister the team and stores that would like to sponsor the Euro team. This is an exciting opportunity for the entire SLRDA community to come together and promote Roller Derby to an entirely new fan base. For those who have shown interest in SL roller derby, but have not been able to play due to time zone restrictions; we are looking to you now. This note card will be sent to every name in the Euro team file. (yes i keep one!) In order for this to work, we need YOU!! Tell your friends, your mom anyone who you think would like to join the Euro team. We cant do this without you. The warehouse district is great.It has everything but people..lol. Its an amazing build, great potential for rp.Just not a lot of people there. Sorry I know it doesn't help, but it seems like all the good rp is being drained from sl by "pay-for-it" sexual encounters, voicers and various other things. Im a para rp'er as well and its harder now to find places that are visually pleasing, with avatars that are well put together and...*gasp* know how to rp and don't charge a fee. Every place I find is infested with sex for sale, pose balls and malls. If you find the elusive place we speak of.Let me know. Some of us old schoolers are tired of wading in the muck. = )

My Personal favorite place in SL would have to be Second Life Roller Derby Association's own Psych0 Riot Bitches Home Rink With its custom prison theme design, its not only fun to skate at...its also fun to visit. So whether you're an aspiring Derby Girl or just a curious fan; stop by SLRDA's top ranked Roller Derby Teams' home.
