  1. Did you receive the gift card directly from the designer?  As far as I know, NO reputable stores use a gift card that makes you grant them debit permissions. But a great many scammers go to very nice stores and offer "gift cards." This is why so many stores have had to do pop ups when you enter telling you not to accept any gift cards from anyone at the store.

  2. Hi guys!! I have two residential parcels available on my sim, Bluebonnet! If you're looking for a quiet, family friendly, place to call home and you need lots of prims, c'mere.

    Parcel 1: 6256sqm / 1431 prims

    Parcel 2: 7936sqm / 1816 prims

Both parcels are right next to each other, so if you wanted, you could have them combined.

Life on Bluebonnet is pretty great, I won't lie. Because you do your own landscaping and use your own home, and the parcels are large, it becomes like your own little world. Pretty much all of my former renters have told me how much they have just adored living there and several are return renters. In fact, 3 of my renters have been living there since 2008!!  Because this is a privately owned sim, not part of a huge land company, I cannot offer huge discounts. What I CAN offer is a more personal experience and a nice, quiet SLife.

If you are interested in living on Bluebonnet, please IM me in world for more information and I will get back to you just as soon as I possibly can. :)

  3. I would recommend SLink because with some of her more current releases, there is a skin blender tattoo that helps greatly with the look of the fit.  Unfortunately, unless you work with a shoe that does not have a prim foot, you often have to just get it fit as well as you can, then deal with the little seam line.  But if it's a huge deal, ask the creator if there is any way they can help you size your shoe. Most of them are willing to help you out.

  4. With Windlight, you don't truly have a need of facelights.  I have not worn a facelight since 2008 and most of the older, more established photographers in SL will tell you that it's unnecessary.  Learn how to work your Windlight.  If you need a light in your studio because you honestly cannot get the lighting right any other way, rez a prim and make it into a light.  There are tutorials on blogs and on YouTube to show you how to do this.

  5. I originally started because it was something to do with a friend who didn't live near me.  We could "hang out" in world without one of us driving for hours to see the other.  But that was a long long time ago.  Now I am in SL because I love the artistry of it.  I love the people I have met who have allowed me to share in their lives.  I appreciate that writing about it and taking photographs have given me a creative outlet.  I use it as a sort of therapy for my real world body issues and shyness.  I allow myself to be an introvert in SL in a way that I never could be in RL.  I feel more like myself in SL than I do anywhere else at the moment.

    And that's why I'm an avatar. :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:
