for example, if i don't have facebook, or twitter, how the heck the viewer or linden lab, will force me to make a profile to those social networks?

your friends and other residents can still distinguish you, by hovering over your avatar. they will see both your display name/original name. thay will see it even on im's and profiles.

that not so big deal than copyboting.

whats the point of adding the new fetaures of v2, like mesh, display names etc, to viewer 1?

do you delete the cache folder manually before switching viewers? i have used the emerald viewer only once just to see what it looks like, then i uninstalled it.

i never had "lost inventory" issues the two years i use the sl viewers. and i personaly find the 2.4.0 viewer to work even betrer for me than the v1.x.x.

textures, objects, sculpts, everything loads perfectly fine for me.

and not a single graphic glitch, as i noticed others encounter.

double click teleport exists in the the viewer.

after enabling the advanced menu, enable the develop menu, go to UI, then double click teleport.
