  1. Congratulations. Do you expect a cookie?
  2. I am quite pleased with the level of realism my avie has, particularly in the facial region. Would I go for more realism if I could? Maybe.
  3. Check out the Mara AO from Vista. I use it and it is one of the least wiggly and fidgety AOs I own.
  4. Catya did not have BoM but used plain old appliers. This is part of the difference.
  5. Nobody seems to address the obvious, which is the drivers. You appear to be using the drivers that came with Windows. Bad idea. Those drivers are always out of date and often even incomplete. Go to https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/drivers/results/184744/ and get the latest drivers for your graphics, the version is 497.29 whereas your driver version appears to be 442.23. This may actually fix your issue. NOTE: Make sure to check the page for supported cards (I made sure the MX 150 was supported, but always double-check!)
  6. In your original post you said "[...] I am stuck as an orange cloud". The SL viewer would make you a white cloud. An orange cloud indicates that you use Firestorm
  7. Did your research also lead you to https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_bake_fail ? Because that will help you fix these issues in the majority of cases.
  8. Before Second Life became Second life, it was called Linden World. When Linden World was opened as a limited beta, they had a central plaza called Linden City. You can see part of Linden City in the background of this promotional pic: I'm afraid that I have not been able to find a better pic, although I have seen one fairly recently.
  9. I like to hang out at Tortuga Nude Beach. I know, those places are usually rather bright, but there is a campfire that you could sit at and chat with random people and it would be quite tolerable if you set your own windlight. There is also a tub (strictly PG) that people like to keep warm with their (virtual) bodies. And if you have had enough of PG-ness, across a bridge there is also a naughty beach but that is not my kind of spot. I'm no prude, but I just don't enjoy the "adult experience" so to speak. https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Tortuga/155/55/2000
  10. I am a fan of Tortuga Nude Beach. There are different areas there but my fave is the Paradise beach, which is designated to those that just want to relax and perhaps have a chat. For more adult stuff, one can move to the nude beach on the other side of the island
  11. Been there, done that, and will probably do it again against better judgement. BTW, I hope you also taught them not only how to save an outfit, but also instructed them to do it and verified that they did. As funny as it sounds, it is needed to make sure they don't drop into your IMs in a panic because they suddenly took off their hair or something.
  12. KSnip +Imgur (can even be anonymous) for a similar experience, sans GIF stuff https://github.com/ksnip/ksnip
  13. Making an NFT in SL is easy. Create something (a pic, a mesh item, a notecard with a story, whatever). Make it no copy and make sure to only sell one single copy of it and BOOM you have an NFT. An NFT does not have to be just a pic after all, it can be anything.
  14. If that's the case then no security system will get rid of them, which is fine of course. If they are outside the parcel, then it should not even be her problem.
  15. Either I have missed someone mentioning this part, or all the other responders have missed this part. All the bots/avatars are on YOUR parcel in Bellisseria, and are using YOUR home. Look in your home controller and get your LL security system out. Configure it (assuming you want to give certain others access to your parcel) and enable it. The unauthorised avatars (or bots) inhabiting your parcel will be gone in no time flat. EDIT: Looking at the pic you originally posted, it seems that several of these avatars would be floating in mid air over your parcel. The LL security system will NOT work for avatars that are located at between 400 and 2000m height. To get rid of these, you may have to (temporarily!) use a non-LL security system until the plage is over.
  16. If it were easy, the money would lose its value.
  17. Do you still jump if you disconnect your keyboard (pull it out of the USB port)? If you have a wireless keyboard, turning the keyboard off should have the same effect. If that makes you stop jumping, we know it is caused by the keyboard. If you still jump in spite of the keyboard being disconnected, it MAY be something on your avatar, in which case Lindal's suggestion would be helpful.
  18. I am not used to looking this young. I will keep it for a while and see if that changes my SL experience in any way..
