  1. The VenueSL is a virtual live music venue set in the virtual world of Second Life. We're looking for aspiring singers and DJs in order to give them opportunity to make a bit of an income online with their talents. We're a small endeavor but we'd love to help out anyone who loves to perform and already has a following but no permanent venue to perform in. We'll provide the space, I can host for you, or you provide your own host! Tips are 100% yours and your host! So far we have three acts lined up for FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS starting 3pm SLT. They are the following: Miele: This DJ is one of a kind with an eclectic, fun and diverse tunes on her repertoire! If you're looking for someone whose sets aren't typical or cookie cutter, she's your girl. She comes in at 3PM SLT! Bring in your friends who'd like to hear something different once in a while. Margot Plutonian: It's always a lively time when DJ Margot (Miguel Plutonian) is playing! She will be playing fun and festive Brazilian beats and pop every 5PM SLT & SATURDAY 6PM! Come with your dance posse and party! Angelikus Deo: Hailing from the southern part of the Philippines, she is a professional singer who has graced the country's music scene since 2011. 2. I have been trying it for 3 days now and I am becoming more comfortable with it...I hated 2.0, I RESISTED using 2.0 and I'm a fan of TPVs like Imprudence and Kirsten's viewer, but I decided to try this because of undockable sidebar and other improvements. So far so good... Hope the improvements stay and not get borked along the way as you twiddle with the code and all. It seems that there are still people who are actually taking joy insulting other people's efforts and put down those who are simply appreciating the effort finally done for this viewer. These improvements now in our midst has long been overdue, and I'm thankful that they finally getting things done. LL has not been perfect the past couple of years, and heck, it sometimes feel that the company is bottom scum, but let's not demotivate the remaining gems of the company. They need us more nowadays to motivate them and appreciate even just a little the things they are doing....because it is not easy work to sit down and code things for a company--there are simply just too many corporates trying to interfere with the geek stuff and all. Please try to understand that these people don't have the freedom that TPVs have to initiate features at will. TPVs only have time and the code limitations, but they certainly don't get hampered by suits and accountants. These people are under a company, and are bound by their demands. Which is why I'm more than willing to try now that I'm witnessing marked improvements in 2.2...it really did make a whole lot of difference to be able to undock sidebar, the usual tasks I found hard to do in 2.0 are now easier in this version, but in my humble opinion, it's not yet worth sacrificing a lot of screen real estate for. So with that in mind, I look forward to having a fully usable sidebar. This means, not having to open a separate browser to go to Marketplace or Destination Guide. When I first found out about the sidebar feature, I was thinking that everything from Marketplace/XstreetSL and Destination Guide will be accessible there, but I was sorely disappointed with I had to open a browser in SL or outside SL to go through the rest of the Destination Guide, for instance. I hope in the future everything in those websites are accessible or navigable through the sidebar. I get the potentials of the sidebar, and if LL is just going to force feed the sidebar to us, might as well make it REALLY useful and indispensable and worth sacrificing the screen real estate for, right? And please fix groupchat...is there a separate group who deals with groupchat exclusively, like how it is done in search? Please clarify as I don't remember already, lol. Thank you team for all the efforts being made, and I hope you understood my point of having a fully usable sidebar....
  3. i knew this would happen! finding a way to integrate what AU already has to the system was something i was thinking about for quite sometime...i was just waiting for LL to just announce this. and yes, can we have a separate tab back for RL in 2.0? another reason why i refuse to use 2.0 (apart form the hard to use UI and i never rezz beyond a cloud) is the way SL and RL profiles are made as one. i like the way profiles were in tabs, where RL info is tucked away in a tab.
