Finally concluded my 10 piece epic on Solitude, inspired by reading posts of people in SL saying they were lonely or looking for someone, without success. Here is one for a rainy day...

Many threads in this forum talk about loneliness in SL. Many threads are from avatars looking for friends. I was thinking about this... and created this work. Enjoy.

I am listening to this, this weekend. Perhaps appropriate? And is related to SL directly as it is music composed by an SL artist, me, and therefore should be allowed for discussion.

Zeta, you just have the most consistently amazing photos of yourself. Your av is gorgeous, the photos are so stylish and provide enjoyment for many of us. thanks for sharing.

This reminds me of one of my favourite SL moments. Many years ago I had a club. I installed a "bot" which was connected to an AI system online. You could walk up to the "bot" and have a conversation with it. I remember being there one day, out of view, and the only other person in the area engaged the "bot" in a conversation. They conversed in local so I was aware of everything being said. They moved through a range of subjects then started discussing things like does reality exist. The guy had no idea he was talking to this AI backed creature. And let me tell you, the conversation those two had was FAR more impressive than most of the conversations you would hear in a club in SL. So, if you are bored and want a friend, I recommend finding one of these AI enhanced chat bots and you will have an amazing, intelligent conversation. 🙂

I grow a few different varieties each year and then turn them into powder so they can be used all year. My favourites are Aji Pineapple, which has an amazing fruity, pineapple like scent and red Scotch Bonnets which also have a gorgeous aroma. Not a fan of extreme chillies.

And I will be run out of the forum for saying this, but the thing I have really noticed is that girl's bums are bigger now! What is with that? I spent years working out in SL to have a cute bum, but now I look like I am underfed compared to most other females in SL. Its funny how things change.

I met someone from the forum inworld the other day. She was in a Maitreya body, I was in my classic body. In the "olden days" my body seemed a normal height but I felt like a giant towering over this poor girl the other day lol Do I really want to shrink myself to conform to the modern world? The sunsets are spectacular from up here. 🙂

As a complete novice in this field, I will play it safe and just say you look gorgeous in all of them. Hopefully that was the right answer. 🙂

I would like to address what is the real issue for me and that is not what brand they are using in the video, but the fact that the video is inconsistent with the title and what I, the consumer, am after. It also dances around a fair bit which left my head spinning. I love the presentation, love the guys voice, but its all over the place. It starts out in simple speak with a simple idea, and treats the viewer as a complete novice - excellent. For the first two and half minutes it is gloriously simple and then he says "and since we are combining this body with a mesh head"... ???? whatttt?? Where did this idea come from? We are here to come to grips with putting on the Maitreya body and now he throws in an idea that will cost thousands more $L. And then the video goes off to lala land and I am left floundering with confused ideas and he flies over critically important subjects that need a video in themselves. The video is about the Maitreya body. DON'T talk about heads. He also says we are going to use this skin he bought. WHY do we need a skin? Please explain, walk the viewer through this idea. What if we don't want a mesh head, or can't afford it, or have no idea which one would suit us? What if we want to deal with one simple idea at a time, not an avalanche of concepts? The video needs to take us on a journey of how to put on the Maitreya body and deal with the issue of how one matches the body to the colour of your classic head - because that is going to be a problem for so many consumers. (why there is not a colour picker system available - well, if it exists none of the videos I have watched have shown such a device.) As a consumer, and novice in this area, I would have preferred the video stick to its goal - of showing how to put on a Maitreya body. Anyhow, rant over 🙂 Ok, you can all now tell me what a nut job I am and how using a mesh body is the easiest thing in the world. (I suspect its not - just for the record) Have a lovely day...

Not sure if that very large boat is on your block or not, but how does IT get out to sea lol That channel doesnt look big enough for the boat. Maybe the owner carries it on their back to the big water 🙂 Anyhow... nice looking area.

Wow! What a thread! I need to get out more, clearly. 🙂 I have never de-rendered anything. Wouldn't know how to, have never felt a need to. I have never looked up anyone's skirt and have not been aware of anyone looking up mine - except for that one night where the guy lay on the floor but thats another story for another time... I am perhaps a simpleton, but I take this world as I see it. I don't care who you are in RL, I don't care what gender you are, what suburb you live in, how many husbands or wives you have. Irrelevant. I don't want to see your bank balance. And I don't care what is under someone's skirt - I will find out if I am invited there. I am just not sure why someone looking "through" my clothes would be a big deal - but then I am a simple soul. It is my fantasy body, not my real body. It is, however, sad that some people would feel "violated" by others intruding in this way. I have never really encountered the sort of annoying avatars that some of you come in contact with, I have been lucky, it seems. Have a wonderful day, and night. Space
