Hey hey :P So ive been building my sim for past 2-3months now, and im getting close to finishing it and opening it but what im really consored about is lag. Time to time i get small lag spikes when i move which im not sure if its from my own internet or its my sim, so i constantly monitor the statistics window, it seem okey most of the time its around 45. My question is, is there a way to test my sim on how would it react with several avatars? maybe theres some script that imitates avatar? What does script info really tell me? Sofar ive been using 279997kb memory, which im not sure what is, and when i check top scripts , it says im using 973 scripts which uses total of 3.9ms. Is that okey? I was traveling aroudn to check otther sims and one sim that uses the same idea as me is alot more scripted and primmed but it seems to be running smoother with several av's on. Can it be that its becouse that sim barly uses any mesh? does mesh create more lag than sculptys or normal prims? What ells can creat lag? I know about av themself with huds and stuff. Once i frend visited my sim, it was only him and me and once he camd fps dropt to 31, i check the top script and it was showing that he is using 0,450 script time, so i assum thats alot?

Hey alot of my frends have gone away from sl also and its quet booring to go out alone to clubs and such since many places dont even care to talk with strangers, if you are on around europa times you can hit me up

I have the opposite lol, i get all the notices even when i have disabled recieving notices in some groups. Its real annoying since some groups send quet alot of notices and every time i log in i must disable them over and over again

Oh come on, nobody have even tryd it yet and people are already raging? And it looks like, by some posters here, that sl was made just for them, sl world spins around them, and if they dont like or want something, than it must happen theyr way. Sorry but technologies are evolving and everything is changing, if you cant keep up than its your own problom. Im i only for new improvments and changes. For the love of god, after all these years sim crossing is stil pain in the ass

Ii want a full sim. Normal price these days are around 19000 per week, but i think it will be cheeper if i buy a sim from private seller for 2-300 and pay 195$ rather than 270~ if i remmember right.

Hello in this cold day. So ive been looking for a full sim and i noticed that, in alot of the most popular real estate companys here in sl, the owners or main managers last name is Chung. It makes me wonder, is it just a coincidence or all this companys are veeing managed by the same people? And a side question, i will probobly buy sim from a private seller, since its much cheeper, how does it happend, and should i kniw anything so i dont get scamd? Thank you :)

Hey, So im thinking of renting my own private full sim, but i wanted to know some things about lag. Long time ago i rented a mainland sim and i hade quet of a succesfull bussines there. But the building there toke almost every prim (15 000) , i personaly didnt lag there but alot of people seemed to do. Basicly on the new sim im planing to reopen what i once started but i want to be sure that this time its gona be betther. SO my question is 1. Becouse its private sim and not mainland will that make less lag? as ive heard mainland is laggy. 2.My bussines consisted from alot of rental appartments, that wer close to each otther so in that way when sombody enters my sim they wer rezzing everything around them, like a 15 000 prim bomb, but what if i make the rooms as skyboxes high in sky , out of the rezz range, will that make any difference since people will not have to rezz alot of furnished rooms? but they will still be on the sim. 3. And last but not least, im thinkin of making the appartment rooms as a mesh, i already ahve finished an exemple room and such, im wondering will a mesh room that is 36 prims fat rezzes faster and couses less lag than ordinery 36 prim room? thank you :)

Btw whenever i uplaud any mesh file, the mesh preview is wery tiny, why so? Even zooming n dosnt help much

Hey guys, im always trying to find ways of improving my sim and i neard that mesh is actually betther for servers and clients thatn sculpty as it loads faster and it takes less resources on the server, is this right?

I gues it have changed as i see alot of infohubs on private sims, like the picture i posted its a complex of private sims who is not owned by lindens.

One day i was travelin around and noticed that normaly there is alot of people on infohubs, so im wondering what kinda land can get official infohub status? Offcors it must be some sort of information but than i stumbled upon this Not its a serveral sim complex withc is only shops, i lookt at th infohubs and none contained any information what so ever only tp's to different stores. So again what kinda land can get infohub status and what are the reguirements for it and what exectly is it?

I use mesh and i love it, i use mesh cloths and i use mesh furniture on my cruise, whats the point of holding back when mesh is here to stay and is not gona go anywhere. Same as betther walking long distances rather than using the bike becouse it was just invented . Plus people can just derrez objects on you and you can go craizy that sombody sees your puxel nipple.

Mp as search and shop inwordly, its much fun to explore sl rather than sitting home and ordering everything. Bigger chance you will find interesting places and stores and maybe by looking on one item inwordly you will find bunch more you like.
