  1. One performer I would go see would have a Linden there fairly often, and I once saw three Lindens at one performance.
  2. I suggested something like this years ago, but to a much greater extent. Everything that can be done in world should be done only in world by all employees. When they see what the problems are it will get better for everyone. What a good ad that would make, we use our world for everything and you can too.
  3. And if you use a security orb you will need to read the COVENANT, orbs have restrictions about how they can be used. I don’t think they have removed that.
  4. I’m not giving up my mask, it helps block out dust and pollen and as such helps my allergies.
  5. Second Life would be better off without people trying to make a RL living here. You know where the door is, don’t let it hit you on the way out. And like you said, “You can hate on me all you like, but that is my opinion.” This was not the intent of Second Life, the intent was a place to have fun. I was told by one creator as she closed her store as mesh was taking over, I started creating for fun, its not fun any longer. And the abomination that the clothing market now with so many different bodies that need to be independently rigged for, its sickening. If you would like to know what is killing Second Life, its the exorbitantly high prices, people will just pack up and leave rather than put out that much money because “that’s not fun”. I was wondering why my PayPal account was getting bigger rather than smaller as it did in the past as I add my monthly spending money, then I realized my spending on clothing has tapered off considerably. But with an inventory of almost 100K, well I can live on what I have for years and never purchase another article of clothing again, but when the prices come down something new and pretty will be a pleasant change, even fun again. If you don’t like the work to create, then move along, you will not be missed. There are creators that like Second Life and are not actively trying to kill it! Reminds me of a story, something about a bird and some kind of egg, don’t remember exactly.
  6. And a way to turn the alphas off, please. And please put in your ad that you use alphas.
  7. And some people wonder why noobs don’t last very long and are then gone for good. Second Life is an expensive hobby and it keeps getting more expensive all the time.
  8. If they do something really nice, it will be really expensive, and I had enough of a problem going from $72 to $99 so I will not be using it anyhow. What I am afraid of is they will take part of the Premium perks and move them to Premium Plus, that will put me back to basic.
  9. In my 1st Life part of my profile in world I had for a while: I am a brain surgeon and have completed 7 successful brain transplants, ops make that six. I got an IM one day asking, then your a Doctor? Not a doctor but at one time I worked as a Histology Technician at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Left that job in D.C. and moved to Florida to work at Kennedy Space Center, sounded a lot more exciting, had a number of different jobs there. I like the way Sid put it, and I am a full time coffee drinker now.
  10. Yes, its a different computer on my desk. I loaded Mint 20.1 to play with on an old computer to see how SL ran on that computer, ran fine, I use 19.3 on my desktop. So different computer and different OS and no problem logging in to SL.
  11. Interesting, so how do I log in from a different computer, one I install the viewer on and have no problem logging in from? And yes I have done that.
  12. I’m over 14 years old, don’t think I would leave. But I would drop back to Basic and never spend another penny here.
  13. Humph, when firefox went to double space on book marks I deleted it from my computer. I’m rather satisfied with Chromium, on Linux. From what I can find out firefox went to double space so touch screen people could manage bookmarks easier, don’t care, deleted it.
  14. I don’t watch much TV but recently I was watching The Repair Shop, so I guess it would be Jay Blades to the rescue.
  15. Unfortunately two dollars of what some have to spend in SL is a lot of money. Some will laugh at that, but that does not change the fact that some have a very limited funds to spend here, very limited.
  16. Politicians are owned lock stock and barrel by Corporations, SEE a CEO
  17. Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would ask here, I just got a new house but there is no house. I clicked on the mailbox and the the house went poof and no option to pick another house. I have a vacant lot in Wildflower Edge. I have clicked the mailbox again and again and logged and tried again but no house. What do you do in a case like this. Edit: Never mind, thanks.
  18. I posted back in Oct 2018 the body I was using but it looks like with in a couple months after that I switch to Tonic Fine, and I’m still using it today and have no interest in changing. (at this time)
  19. So here’s an idea, tell them, hey look what I just found I think we should all try it, and make a new account with them keeping your Bagnu account a secret. Knowing a lot about it you’ll look really smart and if they like it all the better.
  20. My first thought was, why, are the kids half blind and unable to read a single line? But here is a question, why not put both in the Tool Bar Tool Box and make everyone happy? Because that is what will make new people stay in Second Life. And by the way, when the tool bar tool box was introduced I was excited, I thought it would expand to pages and pages in no time at all, but now extremely sad at how little its used. LL could give everyone everything they desire and more. I don’t even care if I had to restart the viewer for things.
  21. Oh, okay, so what you like and I don’t like are not even the same thing.
