want to clear historical chat logs from land, to avoid chat lag, how do I do this, or is it done with a sim rstart?

recently a tennat was argueing that about land showed the land impact not prims used. I wanted to clarify this? if your allocated prims this shows up on the menue, but its refered to as landimpact? is this correct?
