Alrighty thanks all , glad people like it. Special thanks to Chosen for the tips. I keep forgetting I am making things for a game, a friend also told me that I use to much geometry in places where I don't need it. Nonetheless thanks again .

So, what do you guys and gals think of the overal shape and look? See anything major that stands out? If so please tell me so I can fix it, thanks! '

Oh I thought it was the girl from Portal, but I guess it is Zoey! Anyway don't rip stuff even if you are not going to sell it, don't. Make your own avatar or do nothing at all.

Think this might be illegal.. but none the less looks pretty good.

Mesh Equiv Cost kills my art SIMS - please change equiv prim cost ?
Niko Kozower replied to Kolor Fall's topic in Mesh
It just their way of "forcing" you to buy more sims and/or land. I mean noones going to use a 1 meter build, so most make it 20 meters or something and most think it will of course raise in prim limit by 10 prims or something but nope, raises by 200 prims, crazy. LL has been proven wrong on many occasions but still they insist that mesh creates a lot of lag, when in fact sculpties are probably one of the biggest elements that create lag. Maybe they will realize this some day, though I doubt it. -
Get a credit card? Or just verify your Paypal, either one works, but to call it "bullshit" is quite silly as it stops a lot of people that don't know what they are doing from uploading random meshes. Also the title is a bit misleading.

Who is afraid of mesh?
Niko Kozower replied to Sophia Trefusis's topic in Building and Texturing Forum
I don't understand why anyone would be "afraid" of mesh, its a revolution in Second Life. We havn't had something this "break-through" since sculpties and that was some 5 years ago. Everyone should look at it as a new begining (although the release was a bit anti-climatic) its going to broaden the horizons greatly and creativity will sky rocket. Learning however is quite easy. All mesh is is normal modeling, only differance is you have to apply a lose criteria to your work making sure not to go over that 60,000 Poly mark which is quite impossible, unless you have a face or something of that nature. Anyway that was my two cents. -
So when will Phoenix Viewer and/or Firestorm Viewer get Mesh support for Second Life? Have LL even released the code yet for mesh or are they not going to do that and just for everyone to use Viewer 3? Sorry if this question has been asked already.

I think its just to piss the people off that have been waiting for mesh for years now..

Will Second Life 2 be developed?
Niko Kozower replied to Joel Thorkveld's topic in General Discussion Forum
I agree with you on most things but you can't say that mesh should take this long to come out. I mean even some of the lidens who were testing it at first said its taking way to long.. LL takes their sweet time with everything except money which is understandable because their main goal is money, but when I submit a ticket and I dont get a reply in weeks and then my friend (Who owns a sim or two) submits one he gets instant reply.. not fair at all. Plus the whole "immune to ban" thing if you have a sim is kinda crazy. -
Will Second Life 2 be developed?
Niko Kozower replied to Joel Thorkveld's topic in General Discussion Forum
I agree that there are alot of things that can and should be changed but why not just do it with the platform you already have? I mean the only thing stopping all this Development is LL and their laziness and the fact that they probably use 10 year old tech still that is barly working. -
Will Second Life 2 be developed?
Niko Kozower replied to Joel Thorkveld's topic in General Discussion Forum
Yeah no... They would never do "Second Life 2".. its not a game with a storyline and/or base objective. Its to make it what you want, thus they will always upgrade it but making a entirly new platform would be rather pointless. -
An MMORPG Within Second Life?
Niko Kozower replied to KeeperS Karu's topic in General Discussion Forum
Agreeing with the post above me, I think money would be the biggest problem.. In order to have a MMORPG feel you would need alot of differant enviorments.. this means multiple sims which indeed costs alot of money. Its an idea.. is it possible yes, will it happen anytime soon? No. -
Hey guys so like the title suggests what the best and most thought provoking place you've been to? Is it ultra-mod? Is it Gothic? Whatever it is post it below. Would be best to include some type of LM or pictures from the place. One of the paces I like alot is AE WORX as its plain but creative. whats yours?

SL Hasnt changed since 2008 when sculpties were implemented... since then nothings really that great or "ground breaking". Wow real time shadows every other games had that for quite some time. LL Is always behind the times with alot of things.

FRAPS creates a huge FPS loss when recording
Niko Kozower replied to NJMike's topic in Second Life Viewer
I would recommend upgrade the graphics card. Anyway most of the hardware is outdated which could be the main reason why you lose so much FPS. -

So, Got a sim now for 3 weeks and have around 7 weeks on it still, only one problem I can't think of waht to put there. I've been racking my brain trying differant scenarios and stuff but just cant find the right one. A few scenarios I tried so far is a Race Track (Currently waht I have not finished though), I also tried a German Embassy which would house differant German SL groups, Alpine theme which also goes with the race track, A RP city, And a Mall. The mall was probably the most built and close to being done but after reasearching and looking around SL, malls are hurting epsecially if they don't have some kind of name on top of that alot of top companies arn't looking for space atm so a Mall would be a waste. The City was nice there was actually two ideas I had and were eloborating on one being a German based country/land called Neuland which was a country that broke off from Germany due to political issues and was under a military state. The second was more of a suburban town with alot of houses and quiant shops. Last was a concept (never actually built) but a 1950's city. Although I dont have a direct idea Im looking for something that can change over time and can bring revenue in to atleast help somewhat with the tier. The sim could be modern to futuristic but would have to appeal to multiple cultures and stuff. Such as a military base with a city or something like that or a race track with a hotel. Anyway I know this wasn't the most clear I could have been and thats because Im half alseep typing this. Just please suggest some sim themes and stuff, Ill consider whatever. Thanks. PS Sorry about the mispellings and jumbled sentences just wanna write this up quickly.

Honestly its a joke.. Don't worry about it unless you want to get into an Adult Rated sim then Idk.. but for the most part most sims are mature and PG.
