  1. This might sound like a dumb question but with the 5 RC Viewers do any of them share the beta features of the other? For Example does build number .287491 which is the Maintenance Viewer have all the features of the other 4 RC Viewers because it's a higher build number?

  2. Do any of you Lindens actually bother to log in and check inworld after you update the server code to see if it did anything negative or positive? Both Mainland and Estate testing after code rolls would be nice actually using an Avatar that's not logged in from the Office if loggin in from the HQ would not show you these errors.

  3. I'm not one of the idiots with Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Blogs, etc. Throwing my **bleep** out there for everyone to see. So no I don't dare use any of those services because I'm not part of the naive Sheeple community.  I don't search with Google nor Yahoo nor Bing.

PS. You think its worse that companies spy on you then the GOVERNMENT!!!. Have you lost your freaking mind.  HUGE DIFFERENCE THERE MS. LIBTARD. HUGE.  And your naive thinking that the people in D.C. Elected by politically ignorant Americans are going to change anything your dreaming. There ruining everything as we speak elected by T.V. brainwashed Sheeple who either are completely political ignorant or don't vote at all or simply do not care.  WELCOME TO REALITY.

  4. Well I'll be dam*.  I just came across this today direct from Google's Dev. pages.  Almost the exact same thing I wrote here back in February but it seem to be to much for Monty to take in at the time I guess.

    Go to this link:

This is a portion of this KB if  you will.

    "

Step 1: Check to see if the authoritative nameservers are correct

If Google Public DNS (or any open resolver) has trouble resolving a site, or returns inconsistent answers, sometimes it is because the authoritative nameservers are having trouble. There are various tools and sites to help you check this.

Some users (and Google Public DNS engineers) have found intoDNS very helpful. For example, if you have trouble visiting www.example.com, visit intodns.com and enter example.com (the domain for www.example.com), or visit http://intodns.com/example.com directly.

Additionally, DNSViz is useful for diagnosing DNSSEC related issues. For example, visit dnsviz.net and enter example.com (the domain for www.example.com), or visit http://dnsviz.net/d/example.com/dnssec/ directly.

If these tools identify a nameserver configuration issue, please contact the owner of the nameserver to fix it."

Residents--After 10 years how are your sim crossings doing? Not to good for the top dollar you pay are they.  Doesn't that tell you something.  LL is more interested in their other products more than the one your putting your money into.  They are probably going to sell it soon anyway.  Have you read the current TOS? Wow.

So many residents try to help in anyway they can only to be silenced by the LL regime for speaking the truth.  Can you imagine this as a public company watching their stock on CNBC fall like a rock.

Guess what LL. If you didn't make it the most expensive game ( virtual world whatever) ever made you would have even more people and more money.

I hate IMVU but at least that company is engaged with residents and doesn't belittle them because the residents sometimes know more than they do.

  5. Well here is the same diagonal sim viewing issue. I don't know maybe your server/network people could look into this.

    This is Korea1

  6. The diagonal sim bug is still out there.  This didn't happened until you all started moving, adding, subtracting the servers around not to long ago.  Is it still 3 datacenters or 2?  It seems like it's a network issue (bandwidth problem between the sims communicating).  The odd bandwidth spikes have been going on for awhile and its causes lag.

  7. Hi Maestro,

This is exactlly what I'm talking about. I believe Theresa is describing what I am seeing watching sim stats like a hawk-lol.  Hopefully there is something then can adjusted or changed to fix this bug.

Sounds like you're describing BUG-355, a problem that's been around for months. Occasionally sims with a moderate number of avatars will temporarily have their physics frame rates plummet and net time skyrocket, usually when there is a steady stream of avatars arriving. It's happened at server usergroup meetings before. When the population stabilizes the framerate goes back up.

It only happens in certain areas - it looks like some avatars trigger the problem and others don't. When it hit the server user group meetings it was when a group of "fashionistas" showed up en-masse to discuss a problem they were having. Other sims with more, but different, avatars seem basically unaffected.

  8. More Details? Maestro--this is across the board when it comes to Mainland.  My first post with Stats was right after Help Island Pubic was restarted.  My second post stats were from Korea1 but it doesn't matter what Mainland sim. your on, it seems like this is happening on most I visit.  I mean with these conditions anywhere on the Grid no matter where you are, how do you ever expect Valve to let you guys on Steam?  I can't believe you all don't have some kind of simulator monitoring system of the about 27,000 sims showing in real time their statistics and throwing out alerts when they are running bad or down.
