In contrast I have: discovered tons of beautiful little mole-made gathering spots one lot with no Linden home on it (!) at least 4 truly AR-able locations. and have put a heck of a tp strain on the SL servers. 😂 Now it's not that bad, I have managed to snag a few items, but nothing to write home about.

When @Maitimo mentioned that chunks of the old homes were gone, I checked on an old home. It was there, but I don't remember what the continent looked like. On the map I found four old LH continents, but only remember 2 or 3. Were continents split? Is this what Maitimo means by chunks of homes are already gone? Or, are some LHs really gone? 😵

YES! We are tracked, at least to some extent. I was recently on Premium chat logged in as myself and a Linden greeted me by an Alt's name. When I asked about whether LL kept track of alts, no answer was given. When I asked the second time I was told that such policy was not made available to residents. I'm not paranoid about this stuff. In the past I've logged in as myself requesting Premium alt support or vice versa, thus I've directly given LL support info. That may be why I was greeted by the alts name. (Note: I typically use different browsers for different alts and am careful not to have two residents logged in on one browser.)

Beautiful, but gone from gift area

About half of the blatant Belli infractions I have AR'd have been taken down. The worst one, a HUGE skybox over protected Belli land was finally taken down after a few months. We know there is an enforcement shortage, but what does this staffing problem do to mainland? There is one neighbor I've AR'd more than once whose growing build sits on stilts on protected land in a large lake. It's not horrible, but is in a lovely neighborhood where the landowners respect the shoreline boundaries. And now others are following suit and encroaching.

@Coffee PancakeNot sure I understood your post. If I did, Patch said (old) higher stipend Premium accounts will not lose the grandfathered stipend should the account upgrade to Premium Plus and then revert to Premium again.

Maybe that could be added to Premium Plus! 😁

Hurry, hurry! Get one while you can! What all the old homes had in common that made them so special to me were the relatively small size, the open floor plans, and very high ceilings.

@PheebyKatzContact the Lindens. There have been a few times in the past when they were able to restore a few things.

There are times I go looking for something I KNOW I own, a texture I've already used to build with, or an item, say a sofa - and the items are not there. I've been able to use the texture UUID from an existing build to texture the new item, but I can't get the item (say the sofa) back, especially if there is no vendor/ I don't remember the creator, etc.. Does anybody else get this unintentional inventory pruning?

Born 10/14/05, both photos in Linden Homes(I think). Inventory count is awful. Everything in the old folder still exists in the current folder. Haha

Collectively we are expert at assuming the worst. Lol! I believe Oberwolf did say in that first interview that he went through as a newbie would. But rather than speculate, why not ask?

It may be that Oberwolf doesn't spend much time because he is on the shy side around new people. He struck me that way in his first (I think) taped appearance. Reserved; a little stiff, seemingly not the outgoing type to go out and start chatting with residents he doesn't know. I may be off base, but the point is we can't reach any conclusions about why he doesn't spend much time here. I doubt he doesn't like us or the game he shelled out for and bought!

CLAUSTROPHOBIC!!! new homes. I miss my Meadowbrook already! I have a bunch of new Linden Homes, different types, including houseboat which is one of the least claustrophobic. But I still love to visit my old Meadowbrook. I also love that there is so much glass, I can see out. Even though it is on a 512, the home seems larger and there is no claustrophobic feeling. It is a wonderfully wide open floor plan with very high ceilings and no hallways and narrow staircases (especially those that turn a corner) or little narrow doorways or little, cramped rooms with their low ceilings where your camera that following you is slammed with walls and such at every step. This is disorienting to me and is probably why I don't like cramped quarters. I've been hoping for a theme with modern homes with very high ceilings reminiscent of Meadowbrook. It was very disappointing when Newbrook didn't deliver an updated Meadowbrook. After all this time, while I'm used to the claustrophobic feeling, I hate it.
