  1. Winter colors! Really pretty cool bluish. Patch published a link of colors for the seasons, but I can't find it. Does anyone have it? I will go look again and edit this post if I find it.
  2. No Dulluhan.exe anywhere. Drivers and everything else up to date. No 5G option. With the few changes made, so far, so good, but haven't had a chance to really test it yet. You guys are the best; I so appreciate you.
  3. Heck, I have no clue! But I will find out. Thank you so much Rowan.
  4. Always wireless, but it's a fast 400 speed. I almost always use a thin and light notebook with an integrated card. It fits my lifestyle. And it is amazing how well the 11th gen i-7 cards play. I know it's far from optimal, but it will handle two or three instances of SL when needed. I will gladly take your suggestions. I will also increase cache to 4000 since it was maxed out. *crosses fingers and toes that it's not aws*
  5. Thank you. I don't know the difference between crashing and disconnecting. I doubt it is the ISP since other services are unaffected, including streamed content run concurrently. The screen freezes the scene and controls don't work. It stays this way maybe half a minute(?), a minute(?) before I am able to shut it down. If it matters, aws became suspect when Yavanna pod rides were crashing and a tech-savvy person on their Discord channel suggested I look into the Amazon connection. The same thing happens on two computers. 6. This is one of those posts where the technology is not understood well enough to compose the question. Here's my best shot: Since SL moved to the cloud, the browser will crash perhaps 5 times in an hour, including but not just on tp. It has been suggested that our aws connectivity may be weak. Otherwise, we are on a fast cable connection with few problems in the South East USA. Testing speed from https://cloudharmony.com/speedtest-for-aws we failed 3 tests (Lightsailap-northeast-2, Lightsailap-south-1, and Amazon EC2eu-central-1) I don't understand the tests. Does anyone have idea about what may be going on? Or, how to go about finding out more about our aws connectivity?
  7. I am hoping for very high ceilings and open concept. *crosses fingers and toes*
  8. I'm still looking for antmunch. It must be rare; can't tell you how much sound sightseeing I've been doing to find them!
  9. No more old servers. There was a photo back then showing all the hard drives in a dump box taking their turns being destroyed. If memory serves, they junked the machines themselves as well. Good point about entering water regions. We can notify them that we will be there in 10 minutes, so get them up! lol
  10. When a Kitely region has no residents present, the region goes offline. It returns once an avatar visits. They use this method to save money. It's not a bad idea; I don't notice much delay going into a sleeping region. While 'instant on' works for Kitely with its much smaller user base and less richly scripted/decorated environment, I wonder if same could be applied to low-use SL regions like water ways, light homesteads, etc., and if it would cut costs.
  11. I wish I could buy big windows for the homes that would invisible the solid mesh they cover up so I could have lots of BIG windows. Is that something that can be done? (I doubt it.)
  12. I've probably joined the conversation too late, but why is no mention made of Radegast? It's on the Third Party Viewer page, and while it won't play on phones, it should play on mobile devices like Chromebook or iPad. Plus you can do all sorts of things with it, including rudimentary 3D.
  13. I recently picked up a mainland river front parcel on top of a high cliff. I love looking down on water. Have not had mainland in many, many years so its fun with the generous prim allowance! Then there are the Linden Homes. *Groans* I have a self-diagnosed illness I call Bellyitis. I simply cannot give up some amazing parcels I have landed since Belli started. Even though I don't live in them, I can't give them up. I love decorating and redecorating them, and when I let a pretty good one go, I always regret it. A few days ago I upped yet another alt to search for the perfect Fantasy parcel (even though I hate the tiny windows). Like I said, Bellyitis. 🥴
  14. That is so pretty Leora! I went on the MP store you posted but had difficulty identifying them amid all the other items. Can you tell me what are they named?
  15. It is here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ravenstead/167/90/22
  16. That is exactly the problem I was having when searching "sandboxes." Way too many and who knows what they are. So, thanks for the tip. I still preferred it when "Premium" showed up as a category under the Destinations tab right on the viewer.
  17. I'm still betting on Fantasy release sometime around the Labor Day holiday. And I hope I'm wrong since I already upgraded an alt to premium today. Just in case.
  18. Great! I've always accessed these via Destinations on the viewer.
  19. Has anybody noticed that in Destinations, the Premium category has recently disappeared? And with it the premium sandboxes, which of course I have no LMs to. Search is cumbersome at best. "Premium sandbox" yields no results and "sandbox" gives too many listings to search through. I'm wondering if the Lindens did away with the premium sandboxes.
  20. Very individualized and articulated. Only moles are smart enough to understand all this confusing stuff!
  21. No, of course not. They release as part of the event or holiday, not necessarily on the holiday or the weekend.
  22. The Lindens usually release as part of events or Holidays. So, my best guess is Labor Day weekend.
  23. I love that the Lindens keep updating. A quick inspection shows that Magic Mole updated mesh parts of homes ending in "brooke" on June 6th. And the newer versions ending in "spell" had pieces updated as late as two weeks ago, July 14! (See photo highlighting selected pink mesh.) The Lindens certainly have been planning this theme for a long time. Glowing and Ancient Moles made some of the iconic plant life back in October and November of 2020.
