Well, I wouldn't recommed kissing a Linden on Valentine (Is this allowed for our new teen residents anyway?).
Kiss someone you love instead.

I look forward to Valentine. Anyone planning a hunt? Please contact me. I have a whole sim named ***** (Look up my profile if you are interested - I don't want to place an ad here ) where there is Valentine the whole year long.

[QUICKTIP] Toggle Help menu > Enable Hints in Viewer 2.3 Beta

Bubble Help and hints are usually one of the first things that I disable in any software. I prefer an up-to-date helpfile to this kind of help.

[QUICKTIP] Do you turn classic clouds on or off?
A group blog by Secondlife in General
I don't fiddle much with what the world looks like. I change the sun settings when building because it's difficult to build with the midnight setting.
Overall, I find it a bit irritating imagining that everyone uses different settings. How can one talk about a beautiful sunset when everyone uses different settings? I would prefer a solution where the sim-owner can use a setting that is the standard setting for everyone visiting his sim.

While reading the different comments to this post I found many opinions that I share. To name the two most important ones:
Why do so many of us have those feelings about Linden Lab posts? Why do we have this almost instinctive feeling that every news from you has to mean bad news?
And why do I feel like puking every time I read that a Linden is "excited" about something?Well, many residents don't trust you anymore. There are different reasons for that and you gave us many during the last years for sure. I lost trust when you changed your policy concerning open sims others have other reasons.
So why do we stay? We stay because we have met many new friends, we stay because we still love Second Life, we stay because there is no real alternative and we stay because we still hope for change - hope dies last - ... and many of us left.
You have a long way to gain our trust again. Show us by deeds not by words and "exciting" announcements.
