I think this might be the first time in years I've posted to the forum. I just come to say I am pumped! Some suggested features (which I am sure you are already thinking of) Seamless MP/Casper listings. Please change the way assigning vendors works (once you have 2000+ products, assigning a headless vendor using that single dropdown menu can be a bit cumbersome when you are assigning 70 new vendors and all your products start with [Store Name] - XXX) Better yet... integrate that thing so hard that we dont even need vendors and can just go back to using "Buy Contents" inworld. Redelivery directly from SL website/MP without needing to find an inworld terminal. Promo/Discount codes! Managing Land rentals without having to mess with in-world boxes. So many possibilities!

If someone buys 1/8 of a region from you for 2,000$ USD I will literally give you everything I've ever made in Second Life because thats a true madlad move

It's frustrating that you are here basically making a giant listicle that says "Be better with your LODs @ creators" - But the reality is that modern computers (not the bull junk from years ago.. if you are using a computer that was made before 2014.. what are you even doing on a game like Second Life) can very much handle the tris - the GPU VRAM is being overloaded by textures in the pursuit of crisp detail in Second Life. People walk around with outfits that the mesh may be (somewhat) optimized, but then they will have 4 1024 textures on a single pair of pants. (And dont get me started on people who put all of their textures on a prim inside the pants so that when they use the HUD it "loads faster"... but makes everyone around them load 50+ 1024's while they are wearing a simple pair of jeans) There's also no talk whatsoever on symmetrical workflow (which is probably the FIRST question everyone should ask themselves whenever they are making game assets for anything) You really could've just condensed this to "Make custom LODs and clean up your tri count" (which tri count, again, is becoming less and less important to worry about) I'm not saying tri counts dont matter, but I am saying texture count > tri count when it comes to optimization.

I've been applying to most of the weekly sales groups that you can find on the seraphim website. I managed to get into a hunt called the Gimme Candy Hunt for October.. it will be my first one! And I'm down to apply for anything that I can get in.. I strive to create lots of new products, but I feel like maybe a sale group or a hunt or something like that is a much better place to release them at. Lots of my product releases just seem to slip under the radar unnoticed. I don't understand how people find out about hunts and stuff though, I heard about the GCH from a friend. Is there some kind of network that I should be a part of where store owners hear about upcoming events like this that they can apply to? Or is it basically a word-of-mouth thing or something I have to wait to be invited to? Because I always hear about the hunts.. but not until they've started! LOL. Thank you! <3

Hi :) My name is Kyle, and I'm a new designer in Second Life.. I make mesh furniture, and I just can't seem to get my name out there and get people to visit my store (.lame furniture, btw) So i wanted to post in here and see if maybe anyone had some advice for me on how to get your name really out there? I tried to apply to some of the events that I really like, but it just seems like no one is interested or they are always offline and don't recieve my offline IM's/Notecards. So does anyone know of anything that is accepting new designers? Or does anyone know a way that I could get some people to check out my work? Any help would be fabulously appreciated. Lol You try to make sense, but it always seems to fail you. Okay, if someone sees pixel tits, and gets arrested I will want a recorded copy of the court trial to show on my date nights, I find taking my man to the movies for a good comedy is always fun. A lot of you are being very illogical and negative. Unless you're a pedophile.. you have nothing to worry about. Like seriously, it isn't about anyone seeing anything accidentally or purposely. It's about the adults trying to get in their virtu-pants. I will agree that the teen accounts should AT LEAST be identifiable for those purposes. Otherwise, there is no more reason to complain. So really, until we know more detail there isn't anything more to complain about. Just remember.. it's a game. p.s. ALL teens will be welcome wherever I am, and I will give you free hugz.

A. I am not a teenager B. Teens belong in SL as much as you or me do. The game has NEVER been advertised as a sex game full of an adult world with only adults, and adults adults adults adults. If it has been advertised as this, please give me some examples, and I mean proof, I want youtube videos from LL, or pictures from LL or something. The game is advertised as this - YOUR WORLD, YOUR IMAGINATION. That motto is very broad, it directly states you. Meaning, yes you're partially in the right to believe it's your world, your imagination.. if all you think about is sex and a world without teenagers and children. However, many other people who also have the right to their world and their imagination don't see that vision. There are plenty of games where you can get it on that are made JUST for "adult" purposes. Second Life is not one of them. If you think that Second Life was made just to be a world for adults, then you are the biggest idiot on the planet. You're wasting your time if you try and respond to me, because you're going to run out of excuses to hate on the teens. If you don't like it so much then quit Second Life, and quit it now. You would be doing everyone a favor. (This isn't necessarily a comment directly stated at one person)

There are many people in this blog that are doing blatant discrimination. Saying the teens don't belong here is like saying teens don't belong in wal-mart, or teens don't belong to be outside of their house without their parents. I can honestly say to most of the people who are trying to bully and hate on this blog that I will send my personal thanks to every teenager that transfers into SL for making you leave. You are the part of SL that is bad for the image. You people who are commenting on this with such hatred, and even trying to ATTACK people are revolting and loathsome. Please leave faster, because in fact YOU are the ones not wanted on this grid.

Also, let me make one more point. We're talking about people in the 16-17 year old age group. We're not talking about innocent 5 year olds here. So really, I think most of you are being immature in this case, because you are degrading the entire population by calling them "kids" while yes, they are MINORS - they are not "kids". And talking about their "mommies and daddies" please, shutup. Shutup now before you continue to just look like a sick pervert that has to degrade teenagers in that manner. Seriously, this portion of SL on this blog post that constantly flames these kinds of matters are the parts of SL that purely disgust me. The people who are posting here in this sort of form of hatred should feel horrible for talking and acting in such a foul manner.

Oh hello, it is I once more. I just wanted to make a kind note, part of the reason they're closing the TG is because they don't have a large player base anyways, I mean whenever they talk about the grids merging.. we're literally talking about maybe 500 people mixing into the SL population that are active. I know the "statistics" may say that there are more teen users, but I highly doubt it. So you should probably calm down. Also, before you have the chance to rebuttal and say that they should just close the TG without merging, well then that's just crappy for all the teens. Whether you realize it or not... those teens have spent either their, or their parents money, and also their time playing Second Life. You just need to accept that they can't just let all the teens go (because, imagine if they just decided to close Second Life on you one day, for instance?) and they can't keep the separate grid up.. so they're doing the only option they have left. Focus more on the positive, and stop being this angry mob. Seriously, you're being ridiculous. You need to think of this from both sides, and while a lot of you are saying and speaking for everyone on the "Adult" grid, being "adults" you should know you can't speak for everyone. I mean, let's face it, there's only 318 comments on this blog post. There is over a million people that play second life, you do the math.

Well then my dear, I hope you have a fabulous time when the feds come to your house. Because whether you like it or not, the grids are merging - you should be doing anything adult-mannered on a Mature Sims anyways. I highly doubt that out of all of SL they would single one resident out and have them go to jail and blah blah hooplah. You're being ridiculous. Linden Labs is going to merge the teen and main grids, and I am excited. I am excited because I don't know many teens that play Second Life whose "mommy and daddy" are going to open a lawsuit against a resident for their n00d pixelz. So therefore with all the love in my heart, I can tell all of you to shutup and quit whining. There is nothing to not be excited about, think about the opportunity this will bring to teens, as someone said earlier it has a high chance of sparking interest in graphic designs and etc. I have friends who currently play on the teen grid which they refer to as a stone-aged grid whenever it is compared to the main grid. You should be overjoyed to share you SL experience with people who are so excited to share it with you. Stop being stuck up with your nose so high it could drown. This is not directly stated at anyone, but seriously. People just want another thing to complain about and this is their opportunity to complain. People can complain all you want, but face the facts - it's going to happen. <3
