all of a sudden if i write something in my local chat other words appear in brackets. any ideas?

yes im having the same problems....i cant upload a profile pic at all, and now in my chat, if i write something another word comes up in brackets i have no idea whats going on, i hope it gets fixed cos its annoying.......
