  1. A few quick questions, and I apologize if this is already answered somewhere in the thread... if a game meets all the criteria of a "Skill Game" except for "3) provides a payout in Linden Dollars;", is it still subject to the new Skill Gaming policy? For example, if a skill game that permits or requires payment in Linden Dollars to play awards an in-world prize, such as an outfit or piece of furniture, instead of money, would that game require an application process and fees to create and/or operate? Would such prizes require certain permissions (such as being copy/non-transfer)? If the prize was a gift card that could only be redeemed at a single store for in-world items, would that be allowed without the application process? Thanks for your time! -Talevin
  2. Greetings Everyone, I have started up a medieval/fantasy themed sky village, and I'm offering market spaces for rent. Right now I'm renting at L$50/week for 10 prims, L$150/week for 30 prims, and L$250/week for 50 prims. If you would like to put up midnight mania or lucky chairs, they will not count towards your prim limit. Feel free to check out my place at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Arginutti/127/193/738. Once you rent a place, send me an IM for invite to the group. -Talevin Whelan
  3. It is and it isn't. While it's certainly not a requirement to keep SL separate from RL, I think for most people it's a good idea, at least for privacy reasons. It also helps with the immersion factor. If people do not want to divulge information about their RL on SL, others should respect that choice. If they do, others should respect that choice as well. On the other hand, it's important to remember that while the SL world itself only exists inside computers, the people who use it are very real, and should be treated with the same courtesy and respect as you would treat someone in real life. Saying SL isn't RL doesn't make it ok to be an **bleep** to someone (unless it's part of a roleplay, and it's clear to everyone involved that it's part of a roleplay). It's really whatever you want it to be though. Whether or not you want to keep SL and RL separate is up to you.
