  1. I followed the Bellisseria railroad's eastern spur through the upcoming Victorian regions, and one aspect of the scenery caught my attention: there are few, if any, water features in these regions compared to the earlier releases. The waterview and direct access parcels may be less common for the Victorian GOHs as time goes on ... just sayin'. 💧💍
  2. I decided to see what was up at Millbank, the potential vendor region, and I noticed that the Victorian train station had disappeared. The tracks and handcar were still there though. Plus a few creatures were roaming about ... Given where these goats and camels stereotypically like to hang out, I'm thinking that the next themes we see may be desert tents or huts, and either farmhouses or mountain cabins. Midnight at the Oasis via the Orient Express anyone?
  3. Underwater mer-neko grotto homes off the coast of Bellisseria!!
  4. It's over a Hardy. I'm sure the owner was also looking to add a counterpoint which would balance the second floor window placement. 😆
  5. So I was pondering the new regions SSPE1048 through SSPE1052 above. Then looked at the open area to their east. And I had to wonder if a second Bellisseria could fit in there. I ended up creating this map which showed how they could fit together: The Bellisseria clone fits within the existing land masses and regions frighteningly well. And those new regions are well placed to serve as a bridge between the two. Interesting .... 😮
  6. The Bellisseria sign spelled out in flowers was the first thing that came to my mind!
  7. Given the limitations inherent in Bellisseria, advanced residents might be attracted to similarly-themed estate regions full of like-minded, consciencious neighbors. However, how can they compete with having the convenience and stability of LL as a landlord? With LHs it's very easy - you get a home and, especially if you have an annual subscription, it's done for a year. No fuss, no mess. And LL is going to be around - unless the day comes when it's not, a topic for a different thread as all residents would have bigger issues than a particular landowner's situation changing. Creating something Bellisseria-like via group land would not be a walk in the park either, as peoples' tier contributions could not be locked in or renewed. The lack of any enforcable contract and dispute resolution makes things less secure for both landlords and renters. There is no perfect solution here, and while Belli upgrade to LHs is certainly a step in the right direction, it's in LL hands to step up and to take it to the next level through a solution that pairs ease of use with a more advanced homeowner model, as well as more convenient mechanisms for landlords and more secure contracts with renters. Based on 16 resident-years worth of observation, I won't be holding my breath. Though I would love if they would prove me wrong here. So what will LL choose? We'll see.
  8. When I saw 'new LH interior wall colors' in the thread title I assumed it was a question about the Victorians. Sorry about that!
  9. Any notification of items being returned to the OP when the new owner took over the parcel? Is there an overlooked coalesced object in the OP's Lost & Found folder? 🤷‍♂️
  10. There is a notecard included in the Victorian content pack which lists the RGB values of the interior and exterior colors.
  11. Earlier in the week I went shopping around for a camp, and ended up with a diamond in the rough located south west of Lake Tatakaka. View of a protected valley with a waterfall and Linden cabin, plus direct access to road, rail and open water from the parcel. After some low-brow landscaping and decorating, I was left with enough free LI to rezz whatever vehicle I might want to use. Great place to hang out and play board games. Many thanks to whomever abandoned that lot!
  12. Aesthetics are one thing, but being a degree or so off center would be a major usability issue - especially for the LH 'beginner' target audience. I would hope something like that would be fixed. *goes back to derendering every Hardy within draw distance*
  13. I remember those OCD triggers being discussed in another thread. Makes me wonder if the Traditional and Victorian flaws were QA oversights or intentional quirks.
  14. I like towers and other Victorian excess, and that one inspires me. The widow's walk is a nice touch, and reminds me of a friends former home in a Bellisseria-type neighborhood, Elmwood, in Providence, RI. Personally, I would have used a hip roof, rather than the four gables, and not added the level below the platform. But that's only my taste. The vintage auto out front is a nice touch. However, the issue that bothers me most about that picture is the house itself. I would not choose the Hardy model (even though I love its floorplan) because of the awkward spacing of the windows above the porch roof, as it throws my OCD into overdrive. Resident add-ons come and go, but Mole builds are forever.
  15. I had to go into my inventory to find the actual gacha name, so not sure note-taking would have helped in this case. But you and your steno pad are always welcome to visit!
  16. My sundial came from the 22769 gacha "Where We'll Meet Again"
  17. This thread has been the go-to for all things new and exciting in the SSP and SSPE regions. SSP* may have disappeared and the SSPE* will eventually all be renamed to their production names, but I don't think we've come to the end of the road here. After all, there is always light at the end of a tunnel (and a few more themes to unveil) ....
  18. Some Bellisserian creativity, like my example, certainly skirts the line of what is appropriate, acceptable and allowed. We definitely don't want things to get anywhere near the point of mainland chaos, but on the other hand, the neighborhoods could become boring and stagnant if residents are afraid to do anything too far out of the box. It seems like it will be an uneasy balance to maintain, but I'm sure LL will try their best as Bellisseria matures. In one of my explorations, I came across one of the V1.0 'painted lady' Victorians done up as Addams goth, and was quite impressed (and envious) at what they had done with the exterior of their place. And I am sure the immediate neighbors have their own opinions, and maybe some will be sad on that day that the trim was repainted to white and the body became much more cheerful. Like with importing mesh, maybe there needs to be a set of rules to accept and follow in order to use - and keep - certain advanced abilities, such as exterior tinting, to keep things interesting but not chaotic.
  19. Where would something like this fall? On first view, it's really not that bad. It seems themely for the seaside but probably not something you could strap to the top of your vehicle when your RV camper vacation is over .... And then you get this view ... To AR or not to AR, that is the hypothetical question.
  20. I'm glad to hear that you do check first before involving the moles. I use an old but efficient one to alert me via IM of visitors and region restarts, only, on my mainland and LH parcels. These orbs work perfectly and are configured as per the Belli TOS, though that would not be apparent in an area search. One was recently visited by a mole who found it to be in compliance. Certainly not the best use of his time, especially when releasing new homes and themes should be their highest priority at the moment.
  21. Are you actively scanning Belli for orbs or merely ARing the ones which break the rules?
  22. I found the greenhouse at Culprit. There are some really amazing items there!
  23. My Victorian tower house actually got its start in the original Linden Homes area in the Loft style. It was fun to create that space, but it was somewhat limiting. I was after a worn, unsettling environment that reflected the passage of time. When the Traditionals were released in Bellisseria, I was excited to get a parcel near the beach and transform the Continental style into a Victorian. And now Bellisseria has actual Victorians! I was able to really let loose and create a space which truly captured and fulfilled my original vision ... With the Verne, I was able to create an eclectic mix which reflects the era of over a century ago, in an appropriate neighborhood setting. And the Verne's interior spaces have worked out very well! This shows the somber house with some Christmas decor.
  24. Waiting for the gates to officially open at the railroad crossing in Lantana! Some homes even have driveways!
  25. In an effort to avoid derailing this thread further, for the record I had meant "IANAL" to be " I am not a LOCOMOTIVE". 🚆
