  1. Past hour
  2. Durr. there's me thinking I can count! Sorry! Mind you it is now 5pm SLT and the Grid Status page STILL shows the Maintenance, so maybe it is still going, maybe not. I found I could transfer money to other accounts and make inworld purchases a few minutes ago so.....?
  3. Sorry for the somewhat boring pic, but I've been too busy making some more tweaks to my skin and have not found a good photo spot (but at least I changed clothes and did some different poses since yesterday - lol). Made brows in a color closer to my hair, then I found out that another (bit more famous than me) girl called Kaia have this cute little beauty mark just beneath her lip (even though she covers it with makeup most of the time), so I decided to give myself one too - perhaps that's what I need to get a model career Her mother has a bigger beauty mark over her lip on the left side, so I made one of those too - but I won't bother you with a pic of that (today at least) As you can see in the untouched picture, I still have a way to go to get the neck join decent
  4. I am in the process of replicating my real-world bookshelf in Second Life. This primarily consists of making prim books, but the hardcovers are going to require my (finally) learning how to use AO and UV maps for mesh objects. I'm taking the photos myself as much as possible, and am only doing the books I've actually read thus far. I have a Tumblr to detail the trials and tribulations, for whoever might be interested. https://llama-books.tumblr.com/
  5. That's three documents, not one. They asked for one document created within the past 90 days that has your name and current address on it.
  6. You already did that. That's why you wrote and the following test in the listen event. Remember? Put an llOwnerSay test right after to see whether you're looking at the right one. If not, then you know where you better start looking for the mistake.
  7. i give them already ID card and Payment slip and Household registration book
  8. I'm not a sailor, but my first guess would be that if you can see the land, you ought to stay on that side of the buoy. If you can't see the land, keep your mini-map open so you can see the big black area on the other side of the buoy.
  9. I would be thrilled to have visitors at my house in Maple Cross! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Maple Cross/73/70/23
  10. Apparently you have not provided one document that contains all three of the necessary pieces of information.
  11. For the sake of quenching the nay sayers out there, I'll put down my findings on different client experiences during the current disconnection problems in more detail. If it helps people who are interested in sim-crossing activities in SL, that's great. Ideally we want the problem fixed though. Around the beginning of March I decided to complete all the Yavascript pod routes again for reasons not worth explaining here. Using Firestorm (my usual viewer), this was going fine. The 18th March was the last time to date that I have managed to complete any of the Yavascript pod routes using Firestorm. I didn't try any pod routes on the 19th but I was aware from my own experiences and friends that teleports were a problem that evening (UTC). On the 20th I went back to the pod runs. All hail the sim crossing disconnection demon. For a while I suspected recent changes in the Firestorm code (I compile from source), but that doesn't seem to be the case. However when I tried CoolVL for a comparison a few days after the 20th, once again I was completing pod routes. So here's the list again of Pod Routes for the doubters. Completed routes: C1, C2/N2, C3, C4-Tea2 H1, H2, H3, H4, H6, H7, H8 G1-North, G1-South, G2, G5, G6 J1, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, J7 M1, M2, M3 N1 S0, S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8 T1, T2 Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4 Incomplete routes: C4-Tea1 G7 H5 N3 46 routes. Of that list, 8 were completed before March 18th using Firestorm. That leaves 38 routes. 4 still incomplete. For those of you that have never tried to complete a Yavascript pod route, some of those routes cross hundreds of sims and take many hours to complete. The information I'm giving you here is based on literally thousands of sim crossings. 33 of those routes have been completed since the start of the current server disconnection problems (March 20th) using CoolVL. One of them was completed using Alchemy. None of them have been completed using Firestorm. Zero. Nada. Zilch. And not for lack of trying. During the disconnection problems, I have tried various tricks. I've tried Firestorm with sky rendering turned off and/or Windlight shaders disabled. No big difference. After starting a "Pod run", Firestorm will normally give me a disconnection error message after 15-30mins of sim crossings. For a long time 45mins was the longest it managed. On one evening it managed 1h45mins, sadly still not long enough to complete the pod run I was on at the time. That gives us an idea of the degree of random in the disconnection problems. (Yes I time the pod runs). In comparison. CoolVL has managed far in excess of 3 hours constant sim crossings. Completing routes and still allowing a TP to start the next route. It's not immune to the current problems, but they happen much more rarely. Most pod failures are the "old style" problems, where you find yourself standing on a road after a while with no pod under your ass. I've tried Kokua a few times, and so far it's disconnection performance appears roughly equal to Firestorm. The current Singularity for Linux build has problems with the CEF (HTML) plugin for me, so I haven't tested it. I recently tried Alchemy out if interest. It's an old build but compared to CoolVL still a modern v2 viewer. So I just wanted to see if changes since November 2017 (it's last release) made any difference. Results are patchy. It can achieve a very long run sometimes, although that may just be freak occurrences. It may be failing at other times simply because it's so out of date. (It doesn't understand Animesh for example). Since the source code seems to be no longer available, and the variance in time before disconnection is so huge. I've given up testing it. Any other viewers that I haven't mentioned have not been tested. So if someone on here is telling you that all viewers will suffer the same disconnection rates, and that any user analysis of what's going on is worthless, and we should all just read a book until the Linden's fix it. They really have no idea what they are talking about. It probably is worth trying other viewers, but beware the random run of good luck. If you get good results, check it a few times to make sure it's not just a lucky run then share them. Cheers.
  12. I added a public animesh riding horse rezzer in front of my house! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Maple Cross/73/70/23
  13. I provided all the information they wanted because I wasn't in the United States in China, but they also froze my account. They didn't want me to bring the money out. They didn't let me bring the rest of the money I had recharged. They were fraudulent and discriminated against the Chinese.what should i do nobody help me
  14. Unless LL invests in IK support for their archaic animations platform, you're going to have to be stuck using a specific body, head and body shape to use said naughty animations.
  15. After the restarts, my region is now performing at 1/3rd the speed it used to. Restarted a second time, no better. Seriously LL, you owe us some answers. I will NOT pay for another month's service if the performance stays this bad. I'm done. Whatever you are doing, you are doing it wrong. TP's still broken too, which sucks the joy out of even logging in. It's painfully clear based on recent events that the executive team no longer cares about SL and it's paying user base. The Second Life product is in a terrible state - the worst it's been in many years. Not only will I no longer pay for a shoddy product, I'm due a refund. I've been paying for service but am not receiving it. -
  16. Which side(s) of this marker are VOID and which are navigable, if there is a way to tell? I do know now that seeing these means I'm approaching a Region corner, but I usually find out the hard way it's an outside corner.... and sailing vessels don't always have a Reverse so I bump along like a fly against a pane of glass until I can catch some wind and get my bearings... or crash bouncing back and forth over a SIM crossing. I'm a rather lazy sailor, gawking at whatever catches my eye, easily distracted by "ohh, shiny, pretty" things and all water just looks like beautiful open water when I putter along without paying enough attention to the Map... but maybe I'm the only one!
  17. I got your point. I think you missed mine. Oh well. What confusion emoticon? I stuck my tongue out at you. Here, let me do it again. Neither does Penny, nor is Penny ignorant, nor is she presuming. There are things LL should have done more than a decade ago (many that are still needed) that are still gathering dust because LL doesn't think it's needed. There comes a time when LL depends far too much on resident content creators. That time has come and gone. That needs to change if LL wants SL to be viable and financially feasible for another 15 years.
  18. Oh, ok. Now I can see the whole thing, I see that it's not the same top. I can quite understand your incredulity now that I know what it's . . . missing.
  19. When there are avatars in the region, it's returning all keys with llOwnerSay(llList2CSV(uuid)); and all names with llOwnerSay(llList2CSV(Names)); at the same time. What should I do to get it to read only the one I select from the llDialog()?
  20. I have an open door policy always. So your tour is certainly welcome to visit my place. Heathstone on the beach (hard to miss mine as it has all the outside "clutter" LOL.
  21. Today
  22. Well personally the folks I know (NOT in clothing so not sure how that is going now) are not making all that many gachas. While I was a monthly gacha event creator for over a year I am only doing gachas now that ALSO have fatpacks of copy items == so that customers have a choice. "I" am mostly doing main store and Marketplace sales now (that's JUST me) and a lot of creators that I know are just not working as much also me except I have been busing making things for my new Linden Home which also gave me "products" LOL. I still sell a LOT of gacha items that are old (some over two years). This in the primary market, not gacha resale. I have no idea about other folks but I would have no interest at all in the proposed new system. I DO heartily agree that gacha sales have gone downhill greatly over the last year -- at least at the gacha events that I took part in. Cosmo is still doing well in gachas for me. While some creators (lassitude & ennui I know for sure) will trade out transfer for copy items, that can take up a fair amount of time that many don't and wouldn't want to put into the sale of a 50 - 70 linden item. I do HEARTILY AGREE that there needs to be a paradigm shift for retail, not just gachas but events too. So if you come up with the "next big thing" for SL I applaud you. It is due :D.
