Not possible. It's now all classified as Moderate. Odd thing is

<quote>

(...)sell Adult content in Mature rated

regions as long as others cannot demo or use them.

</quote>

That is from that letter I received. Notice the word Mature.... Something hasn't been updated somewhere....(Please read Weekend Linden)

Perhaps very ancient viewers still use Mature, Dunno.

And that quote is wrong. People
are
allowed to try adult content in mature sims, and it can be demoed too. Whoever wrote it got it wrong. What can't happen is the people or the bots revealing certain body parts, and that's all.

because not advertising it or not falling under the adult ratings keeps it from becoming adult content..it has to do those things to be rated adult..not doing them and it is mature..it's right in the definitions..and this is what confuses a lot of people..

theyhave to stop thinking adult content is a thing hehehe

because adult content is not a thing..it is a presentation or draw..like the sex industrie..adult is all about capturing an audience or making somethign for an audience or giving a show..where not trying to do that keeps it from becoming adult..

this is what defines the sex industrie and porn and not porn ect..

me and my husband having sex in our private  residence on a sex bed just keeping it all to ourselves doesn't give us or our bed a rating at all..it doesn't show up in the ratings system at all..so it's NR not rated hehehe and so are the activities..because it's not porn..

Regarding nudity on Mature/PG13 land:

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Adult_Content_FAQ#What_does_.22behind_closed_doors.22_mean.3F

Is simple nudity without sex Adult?

Depending on context, nudity may not require an Adult rating. For example all of the following could be rated Moderate:

  • A nude beach without sexual activity.
  • Skin vendors showing a nude skin to display the product.
  • Nude art that is not sexual.
  • Strip clubs that do not use adult words in search or host sex furniture.

Depending on the context, exposed genitalia may not be considered Adult. For example:

  • Hanging out at a nude beach would be fine.
  • Walking around pants-less on the mainland could be inappropriate.

Non-sexualized depictions of nudity are Moderate NOT Adult.

Oh, don't worry. There are more errors in the e-mail I received. The Weekend Linden is member of the concierge team and I will guard it's name. Who know's, one day I might need it.

my god..this has Rodvik administration written all over it..they did a good job on those FAQ's!! lol

they eliminated M's blurry garble..

i'm gonna have to hunt down the old version..i know i have it copied somewhere before..just so we can have a good laugh at how blurry they were before and how much M sucked lol

these FAQ's actually make big changes to the definitons now..

which really  i am glad they are to the point instead of like M ..pointing to everything but the answer lol

i gave up looking at the FAQ's for the definitions because there was crap information there before..these have to be from the last changes to that page..

way to go rodvik \o/ =)

Those were posted last July with the last revision done in October.

If you are naked on your own mature mainland parcel they might say you should have your privacy settings turned on:

It sounds like avatars can do private stuff at home on Mature land as long as they are indoors and not commercializing it.

It sounds like you cannot have nudie art or anything like that on Mature land whether indoors or outdoors.

I remember back during the Zindra debates someone told us on the forums that if it was an art piece i.e. Rubens or something I guess, that might be different, on a case by case basis.

Maybe the difference between avatar and painting is that if you set privacy on  your land you are invisible outside your land. But the art is not.

Oh. You're stationery and not walking - so you should be ok
:)

lol..i'm actually on a private estate and no sims are touching mine..plus it's not open to the public..not for the sex outside reasons or anything like that..

it's that i get really creative and could be working on anything on any given day and i just don't want  any distractions when i get in the zone..

i'm running around half the time on my sim nude..mainly because at any moment i could get a really good idea for a shopping spree and  want to be ready to put on stuff LOL

i remember why i didn't notice the changes now..

because i was gone on summer break at that time and also ..there just haven't really been as many threads on this as there used to be..

i really like how they got to the point in them and answer a lot of questions that people have been asking for since the ratings started up...

it's much better to point to something like that than having to try to explain stuff over and over again thread after thread..it got to the point that i would just wait out a thread because it got old repeating the same stuff every thread hehehehehe

props to the rodvik team for fixing it..

I have send out an AR about the Weekend Linden. A Linden has confirmed to me that the referenced policy is the correct one. I have appended the ticket containing "Good Linden Practice" (= warn first and return later), the headers of the e-mails and a copy of the IM that told me the objects were returned. That IM also contains the location of the objects.

The status of the ticket is still "new" but it has been re-filed as Case-Type: Abuse Appeal.

I have send, using my.secondlife, a PM to the Weekend Linden and it has deleted that message, hopefully after reading it first.

Can't push time any faster.

I know my next step but have to give the ticket people some time.

I do not know whether to laugh or mourn.

Is this related to any US law?

In Spain (and I suppose in many European countries) the children can see nipples and smoothly all the female breast at any public pool, beach, urban park... And of course children of USA and Europe can see nipples in their Art History clases.

PS. This is a General forum, could I post this picture?: http://aprendersociales.blogspot.com.es/2010/02/el-nacimiento-de-venus.html (web used in Spain in the school of my cousin, 12 yers old).

Vick, I think you made a mistake - it seems to me you're only taking into account the Search-related policy.

I think you should also look at the Adult Content FAQs - http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Adult_Content_FAQwhich state:

Adult activity on Moderate land must be conducted "behind closed doors," meaning that you must make every reasonable effort to ensure that the parcel is private. This means:

  • Allow only a group or specific individuals access to the parcel. If it is group-access only, the group must not be freely open to join.
  • Hide avatars (turn off avatar visibility) for the parcel.
  • Enclose the area behind walls or other visual barriers.

It seems you didn't take all these measures and if this is true, removal of Adult objects from your Moderate land makes sense.

Nipples being "Adult objects"...that'd be a completely different topic, and it seems it's not what's debated here.

You are wrong.

You have a bee in your bonnet about what happened to your pictures and you don't seem to be able to see where you are wrong. Instead you keep on posting something that is absolutely untrue, and using it in an effort to promote your blog - you keep linking to it. In other words, you are using what happened to further your own ends.

Let it go.
