how do i make the viewer full screen,not maximized?

in other viewers its just simply in the preferences i think under graphics,but this one is a different story. i obviously know how to maximize the size of a window,but that doesnt make it "full screen" yknow,when it basically becomes your screen? i want to use it in that format so my computer doesnt have to control both the viewer and the desktop at the same time so it runs better.

In the old viewer, you used to be able to do it with View >> Toggle Full Screen or by typing Alt + Enter.  I haven't had any reason to try that for a long ime, so I don't know if it still works.  (Can't get in world to try it right now either.)  If it works for you, come back and let us know, OK?

Yes, you're right that there IS a setting in Preferences >>. Move & View in Firestorm, too.
