I have a question.

If the quarterly premium subscription is $11.25 for the next three months, will it stay that way? I'm more than willing to maintain a quarterly subscription if it stays at $11.25.

No, after 3 months it will auto renew at full price. You can cancel before the renewal date if you wish.

The 50% off on Premium offer is only for upgrading from Basic to Premium, and only for the first three months. After that it auto-renews at the normal quarterly rate, which is the most expensive rate for membership. The only way for this to be a good deal is if, during that first three months, you switch it to annual billing.

If you don't switch it over to annual billing before it renews more than once, you'll actually lose money in the long run, as compared to what you would pay by just ignoring this discount and buying an annual membership in the first place.

The others have correctly stated that this deal is more expensive than annual billing if you stay for a year.

The only point I see in taking this deal is to try premium for a quarter and then either go to annual billing or return to a basic account. 

As a newbie I've seen this deal either once or twice already so if you remain unsure wait a couple of months and it will come around again.
