Question

since i've read this could be a firewall or a network problem I've tried my old SL on my ancient iBook G4 - login as normal, standing in my last location, retrieving my clothes... ;-) , that works!

so here is the message, SL viewer (the actual, downloaded it yesterday) and even the Firestorm on MacBook Pro with Mac OS 10.7.3 (Lion) say the same:
"Login failed.
Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong.
Please check status.secondlife-grid.net to see if there is a known problem with the service.
If you continue to experience problems, please check your network and firewall setup."

what can i do? I'm so happy about the new mac and wanted it so badly, especially for seeing all the features and new things in SL, i wasn't able to get on the old viewer... please help!

thank you! Nightshade Ceres

so, since seems nobody could help me with that i've found a solution by myself. i've found that entry:
http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/why-when-i-try-to-log-in-second-life-it-wil-not-let-me/qaq-p/1413997
and tried a new viewer: Imprudence and it is great - all works beautiful.
