Can land owners forbid you from muting people of their choice?

That's certainly the oddest thing I've heard in awhile!  A land owner can forbid anything on their land that they want.  That said, I can't see how that rule is enforcable, number one.  And number two, why would they even care??

however, there is something called RLV....(like bsm stuff) where u cant Im anyone only locat chat

But no one can"make" you mute anyone...that is your choice

I suppose if you were to mute the sim owner or one of the managers I could see a reason for such "do not do" rule.  But since it's completely unenforcable, it's just some words strung together for no real purpose.  Were you to mute your sim owner or any of it's managers you be in real danger of not knowing what is going on or any infraction that you might inadvertantly commited or, even, to know you are getting kicked off the sim (and possibly a reason why).

I'm with Cinn.........that's got to be one of the weirdest rules I've ever heard in SL.

I think Peggy has nailed it.  I forbid tenants from putting up security systems that don't allow me on their parcel, for much the same reason.

Bottom line:  The land owner can do what he wants...and if you don't like his rules, you are free to go elsewhere.
