Second Life viewer doesn't login

Second life viewer keep saying on a black screen, "logging in..." and doesn't change from that

Have you checked the System Requirements page to see if your computer can run Second Life?

If so, and it can, please supply details of your computer system as it's very difficult to offer any advice without knowing basic information such as processor, graphics card, OS, wired or wireless connection (wireless works for many but is not officially supported). If you can open SL to login screen, select Help > About and then copy/paste the computer details here using Options > Edit.

If you can't access that, select Run from your Start menu then type in dxdiag and press Enter. From the winow that opens, take details of processor, OS and memory from the System tab and graphics card from the Display tab then post here using Options > Edit.

Have you updated your graphics card driver or has it remained unchanged for years?
