Please tell me how to get my feet to stand on top of the ground , floor etc . They are sunk just below my ankle ?? TY :)

Are you using the official viewer, or Firestorm/Phoenix? I know in Firestorm, there is an icon at the bottom of the screen (in the row with inventory, outfits, etc.) that looks like the Phoenix/Firestorm logo. Click that and adjust your height offset. I'm not sure where this is in the official viewer, or in Phoenix, though.

I looked all over the official viewer and could not find any height offset tool.  If you're not already using it, I recommend switching to the Phoenix or Firestorm viewer.
