Tool needed to stop camera from moving

Hi, does anyone know of a scripted tool that stops the camera from moving when pressing alt + left click?  While taking pictures with DoF, I alt click to focus on the object that I want, but it always moves the camera to a different angle...no matter how hard I try, I can't get back to that certain angle :(  Any ideas?
