On all the new mac viewers when I try to wear any alpha for my shoes it makes my body disappear.

Welcome to the forum.

In SLViewer 3.2 open Appearance and look in worn. Make sure you have only the one alpha layer on.

Also, open your Help->About and copy paste that info from your viewer into your post (you'll find EDIT in OPTIONS in the upper right).

Make sure Firestorm/Phoenix is using its own cache and not sharing the SL Viewer's cache. You can see the cache location in Preferences. In Firestorm its in Preferences->Network & Cache.

Also, there is some minor incompatibility with attachment points between Firestorm and SLViewer. Change clothes in one or the other, but not both. Most of the time you can get away with changing clothes in both. Just now and then something goes sideways with an attachment.
