Can males become dancers on sl?

I was just curious to know if males are hired as dancers on secondlife and do they make the same as females?

Hello redfox12 and welcome to SL Forums. Yes men are hired as dancers often and they make the same as females. You need an attractive and gorgeous avatar and to know how to "emote". If you use voice you have better luck. Most male dancers use voice.

Check out the Galaxy club sometime.  There are both male and female dancers there (I believe that they also strip).  Normally, dancers 'make' tips so what you make will be based upon how you greet patrons, chat them up, and make them feel welcome.  Also, you will need a good looking avatar to be a successful dancer.  Good luck!

I have to disagree about dancers using voice.  It would be a distraction in a club if dancers voiced with patrons (unless it is done in the privacy of an IM).  There is a difference between a dancer and an escort.  The latter may need to voice to earn more L$.
