Hello everyone! I am going to be doing an event that streams from Second Life into a service such as ustream, so users can go onto a website and watch an event live without having to log into Second Life. I know I need to buy some software from my machine, but rather than figuring this out from scratch, can anyone suggest a link to a tutorial or YouTube help video where someone has completed this step by step?

I am really having trouble finding a tutorial on how to stream machinima OUT of Second Life and onto a website like ustream. Would anyone who is proficient in streaming machinima live onto other websites give me their time for 30-45 mins and train me perhaps? I'm really interested in the software you use. In return, I am happy to provide a training fee for your time!

It's been ages since the few times I've done it* but it was simple to set up and you don't need to buy anything. You DO need something like Manycam to stream onto Ustream.

Sign up/log in to Ustream here: http://www.ustream.tv/

D/l Manycam here: http://download.manycam.com/

Start ManyCam up, start SL up, set to 'Desktop,' adjust window size and hit OK.

Start Ustream, go to Broadcast, it finds ManyCam and you have to allow it access.

There might be an audio setting you need to adjust.
