I am trying to find out how to leave a group...please help!

I want to leave a group using V3 and so far I have found the following which doesn't quite work for me:

-> To leave a group:

1. Select Edit > Groupsfrom the menus at the top of the Second Life window.
2. Click on the name of the group you wish to leave.
3. Click Leave.

-> Pull up your list of groups, click on the one you want to leave and to the right there should be a "leave group" option -- at least that is how it is in the 1.23 viewer. (LittleMe Jewell answered with this September 2010)

For the first one, I wasn't able to find 'Edit> Groups' in the menus at the top. For the second one, I didn't see the option "leave group" anywhere.

Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated! :)

Hello MsShy. There is no Menu Edit in Viewer 3. It is the command for Phoenix. In Viewer 3, Menu Communicate --> Groups --> right click on the group you want --> Leave. That's all.
