can't use inventory,tp or move

Log in is fine, evrything rezzes but then can't move, can't put things out of inventory on HUD or even put on things like shoes. Also can't tp although can send and receive ims.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello Randy. Clear manually your cache (out of SL having your viewer closed) and relog in a quiet sim like Smith, Exeuxoa or Anzere. See if that makes any difference.

If you don't know how to do that, post back here editing your post (options on the right --> edit) leting us know. In this case write also which viewer you use.

Try this first ....

Set Preferences → Network & Cache → Cache Size to maximum (10240MB or the maximum space available, whichever is less)

 

If it doesn't work, then try this ....

 

Disable Preferences → Graphics → Rendering → Use HTTP Textures; that done, please go to Preferences → Network & Cache and click the Clear Cache button, then relog.

If you decide to clear your cache, you can do that from the viewer and not have to navigate to the cache buried in your system to do a manual clear.

You can open the viewer. Before logging in you can open Prefernces and activate cache clear. Close the viewer and restart to actually clear it.

While you are in preferences, turn your graphics settings to LOW. This can help you get over some start up problems. Once on and moving around you can restore the settings to whatever you mormally use.

If you decide to manually clear the cache, its in C:\Users\[win_login_ID]\Local\SecondLife\. (Windows Vista and Win7).
