When I take pictures my avatar is a glowing form. Prims are flashing in world. what's causing this?

My avatar flashes like crazy especially when I change clothes or tattoos or edit my appearance in any way. Also when I am in other places the prims flash the same way. It looks like hair prims most of the time and they are either not rezzing fully or re-rezzing over and over again. When I take snapshots my avatar glows. I tried everything I can think of and nothing works. Im using XP and a ATI radeon HP 2900 xt graphics card. Can anyone help me?

Not for certain, but try disabling VBO in your advanced graphics preferences of your viewer.

Hello Katalina. At first confirm that you have the last drivers for your graphics card. If no, download by here:

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

If the problem remains, follow Charolotte's suggestions about VBO and also disable HTTP Textures under Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q) in V3.
