how do i change my birthday

i put in the wrong birthdate and want to change it... how do you do that??

Submit a support ticket.

 

How someone puts in the wrong birth date is beyond me.......that is if they were serious when they signed up for SL (if you were just joining for the heck of it and it didn't matter at the time, I suppose you could do that).

Short answer:  You can't.

Longer answer:  You can submit a support ticket, but you are probably also going to have to send Linden Lab some proof of your real birthdate, such as a copy of your birth certificate or drivers license. 

Opinion:  My guess is that you are underage, put down your actual birthday, and now want to lie about it to get into Adult areas.  Don't.  You open yourself to great mental, emotional, and legal risks by doing so.  It's not worth it.

Hello Max and welcome to SL Forums. It is some rare someone here to ask how he can change his birthday after almost 2 years in SL. Usually new users ask for that when they "discover" that they have no access in adult regions. If you are at least 18 years old:

1. If you are stuck in General regions you have to submit a ticket as others already mentioned.
2. If you have access in General and Moderate regions try to add payment info in your account. It is possible to fix the problem that way.
